What You Will Be Doing

This role reports to the CFO and is a key member of the FP&A team. The mission of our team is to enable strategic executive and Board-level, as well as tactical, decision-making for the company through financial modeling, fact-based analyses, and interpretation of key business and financial trends. We are the analytical backbone of the company and provide strategic insights in planning the future growth and strategy of the company from a financial point of view while serving as the interface between Finance and the rest of the business.

The Senior Manager, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), is responsible for leading the company's consolidated financial planning processes, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, long-range planning, board reporting, and executive decision support. This role serves as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team and drives financial insights that support growth, profitability, and capital allocation decisions.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities with executive-level communication skills and experience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
  • Drive and manage the annual budgeting process and maintain accurate and updated quarterly forecasts throughout the year
  • Own, manage, and maintain the long-term financial plan for the Company
  • Manage detailed cash forecasting
  • Regularly engage with company leaders to understand risks and opportunities against plans and forecasts
  • Understand key business drivers and trends and provide insights on improving efficiency
  • Assist with preparation of Board materials and management corporate dashboards 
  • Support various G&A departments and create department-level reporting to help track and manage spending and headcount decisions
  • Continuously focus on automating and streamlining the FP&A processes
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives including M&A, capital raises, and pricing and investment decisions
  • Assist with investor relations and quarterly earnings calls
Requirements
  • An advanced understanding of corporate financial planning, modeling, reporting, and analysis
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated
  • A high degree of analytical capability with the proven ability to identify business challenges, structure recommendations, and provide insights to enable high-level strategic vision
  • An ability to collaborate constructively with, and influence, business leaders and finance colleagues
  • 10-14 years of finance experience at a leading technology company; hardware experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA, CPA, and CFA highly preferred
  • Investment banking experience highly preferred
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with Adaptive Insights or similar planning tools
Location

Campbell, CA

The base salary range for this role is $173,050 – $228,850 per year. In addition, this position is eligible for annual merit-based RSU grants. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k); paid time off; parental leave; life and disability insurance; and wellness resources.

Compensation may be adjusted based on work location.
