What You'll Be Doing

Corporate Planning & Forecasting

  • Own the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-range strategic plan, consolidating inputs from FP&A business partners and functional leaders into a single, consistent company view.

  • Build and maintain an integrated three-statement forecast (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow), ensuring the statements tie and reconcile.

  • Own revenue, billings, and collections forecasting, translating bookings and billing terms into recognized revenue, cash collections, and deferred revenue.

  • Build and maintain forecasts for attrition and for IT and facilities allocations.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Own corporate variance reporting (Actuals vs. Plan/Forecast), diagnosing root-cause drivers behind top-line, margin, and cash performance and flagging risks to leadership.

  • Partner with the VP of Finance to prepare accurate materials for the Board of Directors, Investor Relations, and other financial stakeholders.

  • Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions and key business initiatives.

Model Integrity & Team Coordination

  • Review and validate models and inputs from FP&A business partners and analysts, checking logic, assumptions, and tie-outs to the general ledger.

  • Establish planning calendars, templates, version control, and review checkpoints to keep contributors aligned and deliverables on time.

  • Collaborate with Accounting on actuals, accruals, and close-related tie-outs.

  • Lead improvements to planning systems and processes (e.g., Workday Adaptive Planning), driving greater efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

  • Mentor junior FP&A team members as needed.

What We Are Looking For
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, ideally within a technology or SaaS company.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CPA a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience independently owning complex corporate FP&A processes, such as budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, variance analysis, and executive or Board-level reporting.

  • Hands-on experience building an integrated three-statement forecast, including cash flow (direct or indirect method).

  • Experience with revenue, billings, and collections forecasting; experience with cost allocations (e.g., IT and facilities) and attrition forecasting a plus.

  • Technical rigor: ability to review, audit, and validate complex models built by others.

  • Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable working with finance leadership, business partners, and functional stakeholders.

  • Tooling Expertise: Proficiency with financial planning platforms such as NetSuite, Workday Adaptive Planning, and advanced Google Sheets modeling.

  • Proficient in SaaS business models and key metrics (e.g., ARR, CAC, margin structure).

  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail; able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborative mindset with strong business judgment and curiosity; motivated to be a trusted finance partner across the organization.
