Lead end-to-end lifecycle of data and application engineering projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and production support. Manage cross functional teams across data, application, and integration domains to ensure project alignment, technical compliance, and timely delivery. 

Responsibilities
  • Architect and implement cloud-based data pipelines using distributed and streaming technologies to support healthcare analytics.
  • Oversee development of scalable applications and APIs for ingestion, processing, and delivery of healthcare data using microservices architecture. 
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and client stakeholders to define technical requirements and prioritize solution enhancements. 
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance in the use of modern technologies including cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform), data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Beam, Airflow), container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and programming tools (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Redis, Shell scripting). 
  • Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting permitted.
Qualifications

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, information Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus five (5) years of Backend system development experience. Must have three (3) year of experience in the following: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for designing and deploying cloud-native data solutions; Apache Beam and Kafka for distributed and streaming data processing; Developing APIs and microservices using FastAPI and Flask; Python and Shell scripting for automation and data processing. Must have two (2) years of

experience in the following: Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment; Apache Airflow and DAGs for workflow orchestration.

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary range: $167,000 to $170,000 per year.
