About the team

The Marketing team at Airwallex is the growth engine driving brand dominance and hyper-scale customer acquisition globally. We don't just run campaigns; we build the market playbook for the future of global financial infrastructure. Operating in a hyper-growth, fast-moving fintech environment, we leverage data-driven insights and bold, creative strategies to ensure Airwallex disrupts and leads the market. Our team is a high-octane group of builders passionate about telling the Airwallex story, moving the needle, and executing at the highest level to support our explosive global growth.

What you’ll do

As the Senior Manager, Field & Partner Marketing, you will architect, scale, and own our North America enterprise and strategic events engine from the ground up, with a heavy focus on major hubs like San Francisco and New York City. You aren't just managing logistics—you are a high-initiative strategist and hands‑on builder who will partner directly with commercial, partnerships, and executive leadership to design high-impact programs that aggressively generate pipeline. In our fast-moving scale-up environment, you will operate with extreme autonomy, standing up new motions, experimenting with new formats, and using ruthless data-centricity to maximize ROI on our market investments.

This role is based in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:
  • Flagship Tier-1 Event Execution: Own the strategy, end-to-end design, and flawless execution of major Tier-1 industry events (e.g., Money20/20) while architecting the blueprint for Airwallex’s first-ever owned corporate conference.

  • Elite Executive Experiences & Brand Partnerships: Program and scale high-touch, exclusive customer experiences that leverage world-class partnerships—including our Formula 1 program, SF Giants partnership, Customer Advisory Boards (CAB), and intimate CFO Roundtables—to secure C-suite mindshare and accelerate high-value enterprise deals.

  • High-Velocity Pipeline Generation: Launch, test, and scale aggressive co-marketing initiatives and partner collaborations designed to instantly capture demand and systematically move prospects from top-of-funnel awareness to active revenue opportunities.

  • Data-Driven Optimization & Commercial Alignment: Equip the commercial team with tactical pre/during/post-event plays, providing ruthless data-backed insights, performance readouts, and strategic recommendations to consistently move the needle on net-new enterprise revenue.

  • 0-to-1 Community Building: Pioneer and scale exclusive founder, operator, and executive communities across key verticals in SF and NYC, ruthlessly experimenting with high-touch event formats to capture market share and build long-term brand affinity.

Who you are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:
  • 8+ Years of High-Impact B2B Experience: A proven track record of owning high-stakes B2B marketing initiatives, strategic conferences, Tier-1 industry activations, and partner/community management programs within a fast-moving scale-up or tech environment.

  • Absolute Pipeline Ownership: A mindset focused strictly on pipeline generation and revenue targets, rather than just lead or registration volume. You have a proven history of being directly accountable for revenue metrics.

  • Airtight Sales Alignment & SDR Coordination: Deep experience working hand-in-hand with Enterprise Sales leaders and managing tight SDR coordination loops to ensure every event touchpoint triggers immediate, hyper-targeted sales motioning.

  • Marketing Automation Mastery: Proven track record designing and running automated lead follow-up sequences and nurture tracks that convert event attendees into sales-qualified opportunities with zero latency.

  • An Unapologetic Builder: An entrepreneurial, high-initiative mindset with a bias for action; comfortable operating with limited historical data and excited to build processes where none exist.

  • Flawless Executive Execution: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, coupled with a customer-obsessed approach to creating premium, unforgettable experiences at every touchpoint.

  • Mobility: Ability to travel up to 20% across North America to launch events, run customer programs, and activate key partnerships on the ground.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Fintech or SaaS Scale-Up Expertise: Deep experience leading or heavily influencing enterprise-focused field marketing or partner marketing specifically within fintech, payments, or B2B SaaS.

  • C-Suite Community & CAB Architect: Proven success building and mobilizing elite executive networks, managing formal Customer Advisory Boards, and curating experiences specifically targeting personas like the CFO.

  • Large-Scale Partner Ecosystem Mastery: A track record of designing high-yield co-marketing programs with strategic partners and maximizing value out of massive enterprise sports/brand sponsorships.

  • Tech Stack Fluency: Power-user familiarity with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo) to autonomously build out campaign architecture, lead flows, reporting, and direct attribution.
