About the Role

Abnormal AI is seeking a Manager of Revenue Marketing to lead our Public Sector field marketing team. You'll build and lead a team of Revenue Marketing Managers, partnering closely with Sales and Channel leadership to design and execute strategic marketing programs that drive awareness, generate pipeline, and strengthen partner relationships across federal, state, and local government.

You bring a strategic mindset, strong people-leadership skills, and a track record of coaching marketers toward measurable pipeline outcomes. With a deep understanding of pipeline generation and marketing performance metrics, you excel at managing multiple priorities across your team and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You'll be building this team during one of the more exciting stretches in the company's history: we're growing quickly, protecting more than 5,000 customers including over 30% of the Fortune 500, and expanding fast from email into identity, AI security, and insider threat. That gives your team more to market, more pipeline sources to tap, and more room to make an impact than they would at a mature market leader.

What You Will Do
  • Build and lead the team. Hire, coach and develop a team of Revenue Marketing Managers across Federal and SLED. Set clear pipeline goals for each segment and hold the team to them.
  • Own the Public Sector marketing strategy. Develop and own the field and channel marketing go-to-market strategy for Public Sector.
  • Partner with Sales and Channel leadership to build joint pipeline generation plans and account-based marketing strategies across your team's regions.
  • Guide your team in localizing corporate campaigns to maximize relevance and impact for federal, state, and local audiences.
  • Oversee budgets, calendars, and timelines across your team's programs to ensure efficient, on-time delivery.
  • Establish reporting standards using tools like Marketo, Salesforce, and Sigma, and coach your team to optimize programs based on performance data.
  • Guide the development of sales enablement materials that align with public sector goals and support revenue outcomes.
  • Manage budget and operations. Oversee budgets, calendars and timelines across the team’s programs so they’re delivered efficiently and on time.
  • Run a public sector event strategy. Plan agency briefings, government-focused industry events, partner-hosted events and executive roundtables.
  • Set the standard for measurement. Establish reporting in Marketo, Salesforce and Sigma covering sourced and influenced pipeline, channel contribution and program ROI. Coach the team to optimize from the data.
Must Haves
  • 6+ years of B2B marketing experience in field, channel, or demand generation roles, including people management experience.
  • Demonstrated success building and leading a marketing team that executed programs generating measurable pipelines.
  • Ability to coach a team on measuring, analyzing, and reporting performance metrics across the funnel.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across sales and cross-functional leadership.
  • A self-starter mindset with strong organizational skills and comfort operating in a fast-paced, still-scaling environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience in cybersecurity or related industries.
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement cycles and buying processes (federal, state, and local government).
  • Experience working with public sector resellers and alliances (e.g., Carahsoft, Immix, DLT).
  • Ability to coach a team on adapting messaging for specific personas and buyer journeys.
  • Comfort engaging with AI-driven marketing and sales tools, and the fluency to help your team use AI to sharpen targeting, messaging, and campaign performance.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Marketo, and business intelligence tools.
