About Us

Foundry Robotics is building an AI-native robotics manufacturing company focused on deploying advanced assembly and production capability for leading robotics companies and national-security-critical hardware. Basically, we're building robots that build robots.

We are reimagining manufacturing through advanced robotics. Our mission is to rebuild the American manufacturing industry as an AI-first, assembly-focused, dual-use contract manufacturer. We aim to empower manufacturers with intelligent, efficient, and adaptable robotic systems that redefine productivity and quality. As a founding member of our engineering team, you will have a direct and significant impact on our product, culture, and ultimate success. This role is 100% in-person at our office in Emeryville, CA.

The Role

You'll be our first dedicated marketer, overseeing the efforts for how Foundry shows up in the world: the website, our events, social, press, and the story behind the product.

This is a builder's role. Near term you'll work through partners — design firms for strategic and day to day creative work, contractors for copy, etc. You set the brief, hold the bar, and make the call. You also open the CMS, write the post, and run the booth (with other members of the team) when that's what the week needs. Over the next 6 to 12 months the role grows: a marketing analyst to take execution off your plate and likely others will be added to the marketing team. The role reports to the VP of Business and works closely with CEO, GTM team and Engineering leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand & Product Marketing

    • Positioning and messaging that resonates with an AI robotics researcher, a manufacturing engineer, a defense program lead, and an investor alike — technical audiences.

    • Core narrative assets: sales decks, one-pagers, case studies, demo scripts, technical content.

    • Stewardship of the brand system across every surface — including agency output.

    • Stand up analytics, conversion tracking, and SEO for website and other channels then own the site and its publishing cadence after with the support of internal technical team members.

    Social & Owned Channels

    • Strategy, calendar, and execution on LinkedIn and X — work with partners and internal team to build footage, deployment milestones, technical explainers, founder-led thought leadership.

    • Report on audience quality, engagement, share of voice, referral traffic, and inbound sources.

    • Scope and eventually manage an analyst to absorb production and reporting.

    Events/Demand Gen:

    • Run events end to end — trade shows, customer and partner dinners, demo days.

    • Help to decide what's worth investing in (time and money). Own booth and demo development, shipping, staffing, run-of-show, and develop systems for pre/post outreach..

    • Work with GTM leaders to build the foundational engine: inbound capture, lead routing, nurture, clean handoff to GTM team. Own the CRM and automation stack.

    • Deliver a monthly scorecard leadership can budget from: spend, sourced and influenced pipeline, cost per opportunity, channel-level ROI.

What We're Looking For
  • 6+ years in B2B marketing, including time where you were doing the work, not directing it.

  • Owned brand and product marketing — positioning and messaging for a sales team.

  • Managed external agencies (web, PR, creative, or events) with strong outcomes.

  • Run a website project end to end with a design or development partner.

  • Hands-on events experience: built the booth plan, worked the show, followed up on leads.

  • Strong writing, an important part of this role.

  • Taste and a point of view. You can say precisely why agency work is off, and you'll push back on us when we're wrong.

  • Credibility with engineers. You'll spend real time with them and need to earn their trust.

Nice to have: hardware, robotics, industrial automation, or deep tech marketing; familiarity with defense or government-adjacent buyers; HubSpot/Marketo/Salesforce fluency; enough Figma to get a concept across; experience managing a junior marketer or contractor.

Why Join Us?

This is one of the only places where world-class manufacturing operators, mechanical engineers, robotics researchers, and software engineers sit in the same room, building production systems together.
