Overview

The company is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their Integrations Platform team. This role is responsible for the architecture, scalability, and reliability of the systems powering integrations, agents, and workflows across the platform.

The engineer will work across the full stack, including SDKs, developer tooling, backend services, and distributed agents, while setting the technical direction for a rapidly evolving platform. This is a high-autonomy opportunity for someone who has built and scaled developer-facing platforms and wants to influence both technical architecture and engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end architecture for the Integrations Platform, including SDKs, agents, job pipelines, and related services, while defining the technical roadmap.
  • Drive the evolution of the integration authoring experience, including AI-enabled workflows that improve how integrations are built and maintained.
  • Define and enforce reliability, scalability, and observability standards across the agent ecosystem and integration lifecycle.
  • Build developer tooling, packages, and libraries that reduce friction and accelerate integration development and adoption.
  • Partner with Product, Platform, and Customer Success teams to translate customer needs into platform capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship through architecture decisions, design reviews, and hands-on engineering guidance.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving workflow orchestration, service scaling, and job orchestration.
  • Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies and frameworks related to integration authoring, automation, and platform capabilities.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant experience designing and scaling distributed systems, developer platforms, or integration frameworks.
  • Proven experience owning platform architecture end-to-end and making long-term architectural decisions.
  • Strong coding skills across backend services, SDKs, developer tooling, and agent-based systems.
  • Deep expertise in workflow orchestration, job pipelines, and large-scale automation.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development or agentic workflow systems.
  • Strong understanding of system reliability, security, and performance optimization for developer-facing platforms.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and mentorship experience, including growing engineers and shaping engineering practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and strategic decisions across teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing within the United States.
