Lead design strategy for Gallup products that enhance people’s work and lives.

As a senior product designer at Gallup, you will lead the design and development of digital product experiences for CliftonStrengths® or Gallup’s employee experience platform, Gallup Access, translating complex business needs, data models and user requirements into intuitive, scalable and accessible interfaces across web and mobile. You will partner closely with product, engineering and content teams to deliver cohesive, user-centered solutions that reflect the clarity and impact of the science behind them.

In this role, you’ll apply advanced systems thinking, interaction design and visual craft to ship high-quality work at the cadence of release, while measuring and demonstrating the business impact of your design decisions.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and execute end-to-end design solutions — user flows, wireframes, prototypes and interface designs — that address business objectives and user needs across web and mobile
  • Ensure designs reflect system-level logic, data integrity and alignment with platform architecture, applying accessibility, usability and responsive design throughout
  • Partner with product managers, engineers and content strategists, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement and design reviews to align timelines, priorities and deliverables
  • Work closely with senior scientists to make complex research and data accessible, intuitive and actionable for users
  • Develop and track metrics and KPIs that quantify the impact of design on user engagement, satisfaction, retention and revenue, using outcomes to inform prioritization
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Gallup’s design system, ensuring visual and functional consistency across platforms
  • Refine designs based on usability testing, analytics and stakeholder feedback, communicating decisions with rationale grounded in data and business outcomes
  • Provide guidance and feedback to other designers, modeling best practices in documentation, collaboration and agile participation
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, design methodologies and UX/UI trends, recommending tools and process improvements, including AI-enabled workflows, that enhance quality and delivery speed

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Systems thinking: You design with system-level logic, ensuring data integrity and alignment with platform architecture across web and mobile.
  • Velocity within an operating model: You maintain quality and adaptability within agile delivery rhythms, meeting release milestones without compromising craft.
  • Outcome-oriented mindset: You connect creative solutions to measurable business value and prioritize getting meaningful work done as workflows evolve.
  • Clarity through design: You distill technical, data-rich or scientific content into intuitive user experiences that exceed expectations.
  • Clear communication: You explain design decisions effectively, with rationale grounded in data, usability and business outcomes.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human-computer interaction, product design, interaction design, computer science, cognitive science or related field, or equivalent experience, required
  • At least six years of experience designing enterprise and consumer-facing digital products
  • At least two years working at a senior design level required
  • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end product experiences across web and mobile required
  • Experience contributing to and working within design systems required
  • Portfolio showcasing end-to-end product work and measurable product impact required
  • Proficiency in Figma and modern component-based design workflows required
  • Experience experimenting with AI tools to enhance product design, productivity and workflows required
  • Experience providing guidance and feedback to other designers required
  • A commitment to working on-site at Gallup’s San Francisco office at least three days per week required
  • Eligibility to work in the United States required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
