Cohesity is a leader in AI-powered data security and management. Aided by an extensive ecosystem of partners, Cohesity makes it easy to secure, protect, manage, and get value from data — across the data center, edge, and cloud. Cohesity helps organizations defend against cybersecurity threats with comprehensive data security and management capabilities, including immutable backup snapshots, AI-based threat detection, monitoring for malicious behavior, and rapid recovery at scale.
We’ve been named a Leader by multiple analyst firms and have been globally recognized for Innovation, Product Strength, and Simplicity in Design.
Join us on our mission to shape the future of our industry.

This is a hybrid role, and the expectation is that you will work out of the Santa Clara office 2 to 3 days a week.

Do you have experience building a Gen AI Platform from beginning to end.

This is a rare role. You will be among the first product managers in the industry to own a platform built from the ground up for agentic AI — not a product that has added AI features, but one designed entirely around agents that act on behalf of users, coordinate with each other, and deliver measurable outcomes at scale. Cohesity sits at a unique intersection: a market-leading data management and security platform with over 10,000 enterprise deployments. The Agentic AI platform you will own is a top company priority, built on top of that installed base, and visible at the highest levels of the organization. This is not a side project. It is where Cohesity is going. For a PM early in their career with a strong grasp of AI — how models work, where agents succeed and fail, what makes agentic systems trustworthy in enterprise environments — this is the platform to grow up on. You will work directly with ML engineers, architects, and company leadership.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

The platform sits at the frontier of two shifts happening simultaneously in enterprise AI. The first is the move from human-to-AI interactions — users querying, asking, and directing — toward agent-to-agent workflows where AI systems coordinate, delegate, and execute across complex multi-step tasks without human involvement at every step. The second is the move from AI that recommends to AI that is accountable for outcomes. Most enterprise AI today is advisory. A user asks a question, an AI surfaces an answer or a suggestion, and a human decides what to do with it. That model has real value, but it does not change the economics of how work gets done. Agentic AI does. When a system can take a goal, break it into tasks, coordinate specialized agents to execute each one, verify the result, and loop back to a human only for the decisions that genuinely require judgment — that is a different kind of product.  You will define what that looks like on a platform used by some of the world's largest enterprises, in environments where the stakes are high and trust in automation must be earned deliberately.

WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • 3 to 5 Years of experience of working on AI solutions as a product manager
  • Experience working with Human-to-agent and agent-to-agent workflow design
  • Having a deep understanding of Trust, autonomy and evaluation of systems
  • Experience building AI Platforms in an enterprise environment
  • BS in Computer Science
  • MBA and from a leading business school would be a plus
