Why Harvey

At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come.

This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. We have strong product-market fit and world-class investor support. We’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched.

Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission — operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you.

At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own some of Harvey's most important embedded experiences, starting with the Word Add-In and expanding to the other tools where legal work gets done. You'll take a product customers already love and rely on to many more lawyers, make Harvey's agents useful for complex drafting and review work, and help bring Harvey to new surfaces.

This role is for someone who has built a product people use every day. You know adoption comes from meeting users where they are, inside the tools and habits they already have. You pair a clear vision for what AI makes possible with a deep drive to understand how your users actually work.

What You'll Do
  • Own key embedded experiences in Harvey: Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Harvey for Word and the other drafting tools lawyers work in, taking problems from discovery through launch and iteration.

  • Build for the jobs lawyers do in documents: Ship purpose-built tools for drafting, reviewing, proofreading, and finalizing documents that lawyers trust enough to send.

  • Grow daily use: Improve onboarding, activation, entry points, and repeat usage. Turn occasional users into people who reach for Harvey every day.

  • Drive product quality: Partner with Design, Engineering, and our AI platform teams to make the experience fast, polished, and reliable, and define what good AI output looks like in a document.

  • Stay close to customers: Spend meaningful time with lawyers at law firms and in-house teams. Use what you learn, and the usage data, to make opinionated product decisions.

  • Work across Harvey: Partner with adjacent product teams, PMM, and GTM so Harvey for Word fits naturally with the rest of Harvey and lands well with customers.

What You Have

Must have qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of a user-facing product people use every day, in B2B or B2C.

  • A track record of building habits: you can explain how you got users to adopt a new workflow, what made it stick, and what you changed when users didn't behave as you expected.

  • Strong product and design judgment, a high bar for craft, and the ability to explain why one interaction is better than another.

  • Experience owning adoption or engagement outcomes, and using customer insight and data to shape strategy.

  • Experience both scaling an established product and launching something new.

  • High agency in fast-moving, ambiguous environments. You build conviction quickly and act on it.

  • Clear, structured communication and the ability to influence Engineering, Design, GTM, and executives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building AI-powered products, including defining and measuring the quality of AI output.

  • Startup or 0→1 experience, ideally at a high-growth tech company.

  • Experience building document editing, productivity, or collaboration tools.
