What you'll do
This role will be part of the financial markets product team, building out our capabilities that ultimately enable our customers to transact and operate globally. You will be responsible for leading high-impact projects from ideation to launch. The team is focussed on exposing our underlying Financial Markets capabilities (FX, stablecoin, yield optimization and liquidity management) to markets, and working closely with internal stakeholders and teams to ensure funds are made available where and when they are required to meet our obligations to customers, partners and regulators. We have recently expanded our financial markets team to customer facing stablecoin platform, a first for Airwallex
Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the product strategy for stablecoin features at Airwallex, including customer experience, business architecture, and pricing & execution
• Lead the development of critical financial markets infrastructure and capabilities for both internal corporate needs, and customer facing product teams.
  
  • This will include price construction and distribution via all channels, market risk management & position keeping, and interfacing with liquidity management
• Work closely with the Treasury (functional) team to deliver capabilities that optimize liquidity, efficiently manage risks, and provide adequate reporting and control to the team
• Work closely with other product domains to build out solutions that allows product domains to access critical financial services with little intervention

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics or Finance
• Experience in product management building products from 0-1 in Stablecoin, Crypto or related domain
• Customer mindset
• Experience building solutions and delivering capability to market
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Close attention to detail, ability to structure complex problems and inform decisions with data and first-principle insights
• Drive, grit, and persistence to take ownership and move ideas to reality in short periods of time
• Ability to thrive in cross-cultural and cross-functional teams
• Experience considering both user requirements and commercial strategy in order to drive meaningful product growth
