WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

Box is looking to hire a Senior Product Manager for eDiscovery products to enhance its offerings in legal hold, content collection, and future legal compliance products. As organizations increasingly prioritize data security and compliance, the need for effective eDiscovery tools has never been greater. This role will focus on developing strategies that ensure users can manage their content efficiently while adhering to legal requirements. By leading these initiatives, the Senior Product Manager will play a crucial part in helping businesses efficiently comply with their legal requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Product Strategy Development: Define and refine the product vision and strategy for Legal Holds, Content Collection, Data Governance and future eDiscovery strategies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to gather requirements and ensure successful product delivery.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Roadmap Management: Create and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on customer feedback, business impact, and resource availability.
  • User Experience Oversight: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive user interfaces that enhance user experience while meeting compliance standards.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to eDiscovery products; analyze data to drive improvements in functionality or user engagement.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers through interviews or surveys to gather insights about their experiences with the products; use this feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting eDiscovery and legal operations; ensure that products meet the rigorous legal standards required by organizations.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 2+ years of experience in eDiscovery - regardless of industry (software, consulting, law firms, etc.) with a strong understanding of matter management frameworks and best practices for end to end legal matter management."
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of developing and launching successful products that meet market needs.
  • Ability to analyze data, user feedback, and market trends to inform product decisions, optimize features, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams—including engineering, design, marketing, and sales—to ensure alignment on product goals and deliverables.
  • Experience applying user-centered design principles to create intuitive products that enhance the user experience while addressing customer pain points.
  • Strong project management abilities to oversee product development timelines, budgets, resources efficiently while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating product vision clearly to stakeholders at all levels and facilitating productive discussions.
  • Familiarity with the eDiscovery Reference Model and it’s impact to content providers.
  • Understanding of technology stacks related to cloud storage solutions or enterprise software applications relevant to eDiscovery products enhances collaboration with technical teams.
  • Ability to develop long-term strategies for product growth while aligning them with the company’s overall goals ensures sustained success in a competitive landscape.
