Job Summary:

The Senior Product Manager, Core GRC is a critical role on our growing product team. As the PM for core GRC capabilities—spanning controls, evidence, frameworks, and audit—you'll own the roadmap for the features that sit at the heart of what Drata does. You'll work cross-functionally to design, build, and ship products that help thousands of companies continuously earn and maintain the trust of their customers.

We're looking for someone who is equally analytical and customer-obsessed, who can turn complex compliance workflows into elegant product experiences, and who thrives in a fast-moving environment where shipping and learning are constants. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to do meaningful work that directly advances how the world thinks about governance, risk, and compliance.

What you'll do:

  • Define roadmap and requirements to solve the biggest customer problems across core GRC capabilities—from controls and evidence management to framework coverage and audit readiness

  • Define MVP experiences, ship quickly, and iterate based on data and direct customer feedback

  • Form hypotheses and run experiments using lean product methodologies

  • Partner closely with engineering and design to define, build, and maintain products that drive customer growth and retention

  • Collaborate effectively with GTM partners to plan and launch capabilities across alpha, beta, and GA phases—with clear success criteria at each stage

  • Define success metrics and measure the effectiveness of features from activation through long-term adoption and retention

  • Build business cases that justify investment in key features and capabilities, and present them to stakeholders across the org

  • Proactively identify and address risks and cross-functional dependencies before they become blockers

  • Communicate roadmap progress and plans clearly to leadership, peers, and key stakeholders

  • Bring an AI-enabled lens to your product strategy—proactively identifying where AI can create differentiated value in the GRC space and ensuring your roadmap is aligned with Drata's AI direction

  • Model how great PMs use AI: approach it with genuine curiosity, apply it with sound judgment, and use it as a tool to work smarter—not just faster

What you'll bring:

  • 6+ years designing and delivering world-class software products in a Product Management role

  • Deep customer empathy and a passion for getting to the root of real customer problems through effective discovery and interviews

  • Proven ability to break a big vision down into well-scoped, high-impact deliverables

  • Ruthless prioritization instincts grounded in data and customer insight

  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to pursue opportunities beyond current constraints

  • Exceptional collaboration skills—you know how to work across PMs, engineers, designers, marketers, and CS teams to get things done

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong analytical skills paired with a data-informed approach to decision-making

  • A practical and curious approach to AI—you actively explore how to apply it responsibly in your day-to-day work to sharpen your thinking and deliver greater impact

  • Experience building complex products for enterprise customers strongly preferred

  • Experience in GRC, security, compliance, risk management, or audit automation strongly preferred

  • Experience launching a new product offering from 0 to 1 a strong plus
