Primer builds machines that read and write. We partner with the world’s largest organizations (Walmart, GIC, US Gov) across multiple industries to accelerate their understanding of the world. With our foundational natural language processing, understanding, and generation engines we build AI applications that help 10x the average analyst. Analyzing both public and private documents across a wide variety of languages allows these analysts to extract key insights, classify information, and compress thousands of documents into a machine-generated human-readable summary with graphics.
The Sr. Product Marketing Manager is a critical member of the Primer marketing team with key responsibilities including the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy against priority personas. You are expected to drive product positioning, sales and marketing enablement, competitive analysis, and associated content development. You possess a record of success in marketing a machine learning or AI solution to business users and delivering measurable results. You thrive in a team environment and work enthusiastically with colleagues outside the immediate team to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities

  • Work across functions to develop and execute the go-to-market strategy and plan for Primer offerings, including product launches.
  • Develop clear and concise product positioning and messaging for Primer offerings.
  • Enable the sales organization to effectively understand and sell Primer offerings.
  • Create and manage a compelling set of sales tools and collateral that maps to the buyer's journey for the key personas.
  • Provide deal support to the sales team and work with demand generation on account based marketing programs.
  • Work closely across the marketing team to increase market awareness and build pipeline and revenue.
  • Partner with product management to help shape product roadmap and vision based on metrics from campaigns, feedback from customers and analysts, and competitive breakdowns.
  • Analyze competitive offerings to identify product differentiators as well as potential gaps.
  • Identify ideal customers to develop references and case studies.
  • Evangelize the Primer story by delivering compelling presentations at live and virtual events.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA and related work experience required, MBA a plus (or equivalent experience in AI or machine learning)
  • 4+ years’ experience in product marketing including proven success in driving messaging, positioning, and sales enablement
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to distill input from many different perspectives to formulate a clear strategy and plan
  • Proven innovator that has built strong product position in a market using innovative techniques
  • Self-starter, thoughtful, curious, resourceful and collaborative

This role will consider applicants out of Remote, Pasadena, California, San Francisco, California, and Washington, District of Columbia.

The annual cash compensation range for this position is US $140,000 to US $200,000.  Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.

Primer works closely with the U.S. defense and intelligence establishment.
