As part of our Quality Assurance and Release Engineering team, you will drive functional and automated quality across cutting-edge, complex systems—ensuring high reliability and customer success with every release.

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to automate features and maximize regression coverage across modern web and mobile platforms
  • Mentor junior Quality Engineers in QA methodologies, automation design patterns, and debugging strategies
  • Develop deep technical and domain expertise across Veeva’s suite of industry-leading products
  • Collaborate daily in a fast, agile team environment with software engineers, product managers, and cross-functional partners
  • Test and validate quality across complex, multi-agentic modules—tackling some of the most challenging non-deterministic edge cases and architecture patterns in today’s software landscape

Requirements

  •  7+ years of relevant experience in software quality engineering, software development, or test automation
  •  Strong expertise in QA methodologies, automated testing frameworks, and short-cycle software releases
  •  Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated test suites covering sanity, boundary, negative, concurrency, and compatibility scenarios
  •  Proven experience in mobile testing across iOS and Android platforms, including native app, hybrid, and mobile web test execution on real devices and simulators/emulators
  •  Experience with Windows application and cross-browser testing, including compatibility validation across OS versions, screen resolutions, and hardware configurations
  •  Hands-on experience with device testing strategies—managing device farms, physical device labs, or cloud-based device platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm)
  • Strong technical background in Unix/Linux command-line environments for log analysis and backend debugging
  • Proficiency with SQL for database querying and data validation
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be located in the PST/MST timezone

Nice to Have

  • AI-Native QA Mindset: Experience utilizing AI testing tools, prompt engineering for test-case generation, LLM output evaluation, or generative AI to optimize testing workflows
  • Experience authoring automated tests in standard functional frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG)
  • Mobile automation expertise: Hands-on experience with Appium, XCUITest (iOS), Espresso (Android), or equivalent frameworks for end-to-end mobile test automation
  • Windows & desktop automation: Familiarity with WinAppDriver, Playwright for Windows, or similar tools for automating Windows application testing
  • Proficiency with device management platforms such as BrowserStack App Automate, Sauce Labs, or Perfecto for scalable multi-device coverage
  • Familiarity with SaaS delivery models, CI/CD pipelines, and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Prior experience in the Health Sciences or Life Sciences domains
  • Experience working effectively within distributed/remote teams
