What you will be doing:

  • Prepare and document monthly account reconciliations, including hardware revenue reconciliations, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Perform bad debt accounting activities and analyze revenue fluctuations to explain changes and support accurate reporting.
  • Prepare timely financial reports and provide analysis to business partners.
  • Support improvements to deferred revenue and unbilled revenue reconciliations by validating data, identifying root causes, and helping implement sustainable solutions.
  • Help implement and strengthen internal controls to improve data accuracy and prevent recurring issues.
  • Provide audit support, including preparing schedules, documentation, and responses to information requests.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects, accounting process improvements, and reporting automation.

What you will likely bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in accounting, including 2+ years in revenue accounting or a related specialized area.
  • Working knowledge of ASC 606 and experience applying revenue recognition principles in day-to-day accounting.
  • Hands-on experience preparing manual journal entries, completing monthly account reconciliations, and maintaining clear supporting documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. A Certified Public Accountant designation is welcome but is not required.

What could set you apart:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with strong analytical abilities and experience investigating financial discrepancies.
  • Experience improving processes, validating financial data, identifying root causes, or implementing internal controls.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet close deadlines, learn new systems, and communicate effectively across teams.
  • Experience supporting enterprise resource planning system implementations or other accounting transformation projects would be a plus.
