As a Senior Software Engineer I at maxRTE, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our cutting-edge health tech solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance our platform architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. We are looking for an experienced developer who is passionate about building robust applications that meet the needs of our healthcare clients and improve patient outcomes.

This position requires strong technical abilities combined with the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality software. Responsibilities:

  • Improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent and quality deployments across various environments, fully automating releases across all pieces of the maxRTE application.
  • Design and implement auto scaling and cost-effective AWS ECS/EKS solution for migration of key pieces of maxRTE product structure.
  • Design and implement enhanced task queueing system to accompany containerized application implementation.
  • Help implement automated testing solutions to ensure quality via coverage of 100% of codebase.
  • Help design and implement migration to microservice architecture with templated, repeatable infrastructure for scalability and efficiency in developer experience.
  • Expand on containerized infrastructure to utilize kubernetes w/ Argo CD or similar application implemented for data processing, report generation, APIs, and much more.
  • Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that align with product goals.
  • Careful and well thought out design capability - considering timeframes, available resources, cost of implementation, and short and long term solutions as potential outcomes.
  • Highly effective prioritization capability - using learned knowledge of products, clients, and internal/external processes to consistently focus attention where it's needed most

Requirements
  • 3+ years of software development experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong expertise in our tech stack: React.js, Node.js & C# (.NET), PostgreSQL / MS SQL Server, AWS Cloud Services
  • Experience building & developing application infrastructure using AWS EC2 as well as Docker/ECS/EKS for scalability
  • Experience implementing and maintaining efficient, quality and scalable CI/CD pipelines deploying to a variety of servers/containers/environments
  • Experience with building and integrating with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Effective communication skills and experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Nice to haves:
    • Experience implementing task queueing systems for enterprise applications.
    • Experience implementing and managing Kubernetes platforms such as Argo CD.
    • Experience with automation frameworks (Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium, etc.).
    • Understanding of HIPAA compliance.
    • Understanding of healthcare-related software development and health insurance revenue cycle processes.
