Senior Software Engineer, iOS

About the Role

At Pika, we are building next-generation creative platforms that empower creators to realize their vision through advanced agentic infrastructures—going far beyond just video generation. With over $135M in funding and a team passionate about shaping the future, our mission is to make cutting-edge creative technology accessible to everyone, everywhere. As we rapidly scale and reach millions of users, we are searching for a seasoned Senior iOS Engineer who brings deep experience, technical leadership, and vision for integrating AI and agentic systems into real-world mobile products.

As an iOS Engineer, you will be instrumental in architecting, developing, and shipping robust, intelligent mobile experiences. You will partner closely with AI/ML, platform, product, and design teams to seamlessly embed intelligent agents and advanced AI models into our iOS apps, creating dynamic, intuitive experiences for all creators.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design and implementation of iOS applications that leverage advanced AI and agentic infrastructure, delivering adaptive and interactive user experiences.

  • Drive AI model integration on-device and cloud-backed systems using Core ML, ML Kit, and custom inference frameworks to power agent-driven features in the app.

  • Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to orchestrate real-time, personalized experiences such as video editing, automated workflows, and media creation.

  • Oversee the entire iOS development lifecycle, championing engineering excellence and robust, scalable architecture.

  • Tackle both UI/UX and technical challenges associated with building next-gen agent-powered mobile platforms.

  • Mentor fellow engineers, establish best practices, and help grow the technical depth of our mobile team.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience building, shipping, and scaling consumer-facing iOS applications in production environments.

  • Mastery of Swift and deep familiarity with the iOS ecosystem (SwiftUI, Combine, AVFoundation, Core ML, integration APIs).

  • Proven track record implementing agentic or AI-driven capabilities in mobile products, with a focus on performance, usability, and reliability.

  • Experience integrating, orchestrating, and optimizing machine learning models and automated agents on iOS (on-device and cloud-based).

  • Passion for solving UI/UX challenges in highly interactive apps, ensuring design consistency and a polished user experience.

  • A collaborative, product-minded approach to working with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with creative, multimedia, or social platform apps is a strong plus.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary: $175,000–$250,000, depending on experience and location.

  • Substantial equity in a fast-growing company defining the next wave of creative tools.

  • Full health benefits.

  • A highly collaborative and inventive team culture, with opportunities for major impact and professional growth.

  • HQ in Palo Alto, CA, with on-site and remote flexibility.

About Pika

Pika is reimagining what’s possible for creators by building seamless, intuitive, and powerful platforms for expression—including video, multimedia, and agent-driven applications. At the core is our belief that agentic AI should empower—not replace—human creativity. Our technology breaks down technical barriers, offering intelligent orchestration and automation at your fingertips. Join us to shape a future where creators collaborate with intelligent systems to amplify their imagination and reach.

If you have the drive, expertise, and vision to engineer transformative agentic experiences on iOS, we would love to connect with you.
