Responsibilities
- Deliver technical presentations to demonstrate Selector Software’s usable AIOps analytics solution capabilities to prospects and customers using strong understanding of application and network protocols
- Work jointly with the sales to understand business challenges of the prospect and how Selector AI be leveraged to improve business continuity and reduce key outage related metrics (MTTD, MTTI, MTTR).
- Scope and architect customer deployments of the SelectorAI platform and solutions building to solve critical customer issues
- Lead customer POVs to show value and outcomes of the AIOps solution leveraging SelectorAI platform by understanding various network and monitoring protocols such as SNMP, BGP, Syslog, Rest APIs, telemetry (gNMI), and other tools which would interop with the SelectorAI platform.
- Collaborate with customer operations teams to understand workflows and challenges to learn how to best integrate the Selector AI platform
- Provide post-sales technical support (training, deployment, support, etc.) in collaboration with the Selector Customer Success team.
- Research technical topics such as needed for customer engagements and explore technical topics impacting the industry to grow as an industry leader
- Build and maintain technical and trusted advisory relationships with customers and peers.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of networking and network related protocols (MPLS, BGP, Traffic Engineering, IGPs, SDWAN, Wireless, etc.)
- Experience delivering technical outcomes to Fortune 500 companies
- Must be able to travel for in-person customer visits (1-3x per month)
- 5 years experience in a pre-sales technical role in networking or application technology domain
- Familiarity with infrastructure and application monitoring a strong bonus (e.g. hypervisors, REST APIs, etc.)
Compensation
- This is a quota-carrying position, with a mix of base salary and commissions
- Selector Software offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience and capability, along with an excellent benefits package, to qualified Candidates.
- The total compensation package for this position also includes equity, medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
