About Marvell

Marvell’s semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.

At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.

Your Team, Your Impact

We are Marvell Technical Development, part of the Corporate CTO Office. We believe engineers do their best work when they keep building their skills, can see a clear path ahead, and have the support to strengthen their technical leadership. We develop engineers at every stage of their careers through technical training, technical career development, and technical leadership programs. When we grow our engineers, we grow our future.
We are looking for a Senior Staff Technical Development Program Manager to own technical development programs from end to end, from design through execution and evaluation. You will work closely with engineers, technical mentors, and senior technical leaders. You understand how engineers work and think, and you design programs that fit them. You will thrive in a fast-moving, global environment.

What You Can Expect

  • Own your assigned programs from design to evaluation, including cohort planning, workshops, mentoring, technical projects, events, and delivery.
  • Track milestones and key risks to keep execution on schedule and stakeholders aligned. Resolve issues independently within your programs and escalate early when needed.
  • Partner with engineering teams to understand their requirements and workflows, and tailor programs to fit how engineers actually work.
  • Run needs assessments and gap analyses to identify current and emerging skill and career development needs and use them to prioritize program objectives.
  • Develop and deliver technical training for different levels and functions, and localize the global program where needed.
  • Facilitate workshops and mentoring sessions using active listening, thoughtful questioning, modeling of key behaviors, visual capture, and coaching of group activities.
  • Own the program communication plan, messaging, and branding. Set the tone and key messages, and keep the right stakeholders engaged and informed.
  • Define how program effectiveness will be measured. Draft surveys, analyze participants, mentors, and managers for data, and report on participation, satisfaction, and outcomes. Use the results to improve programs and to feed the Technical Talent Intelligence Dashboard.
  • Use analytics to streamline operations and build data-informed experiences that fit into engineers' daily work.
  • Apply generative AI, intelligent automation, copilots, AI agents, and other emerging technologies at every stage of the program lifecycle, from needs analysis and content creation to delivery and evaluation.
  • Build trusted relationships with technical mentors, engineering managers, executive sponsors, and cross-functional partners to secure buy-in and surface new development needs. Keep goals, deliverables, and timelines clear through regular updates.
  • Manage multiple projects in a matrixed, global organization, coordinating across teams and time zones.
  • Maintain program infrastructure, including SharePoint and Slack sites, program web pages, toolkits, templates, vendor and budget tracking.
  • Support internal technical conferences, contests, and Tech Talks, including speaker coordination and event operations.
  • Submit program plans, changes, and results to the global program lead for review. Research and apply best practices from peer technology and semiconductor companies.

What We're Looking For

Education and Overall Experience

  • Bachelor’s with 5 to 10 years of related experience, or Master’s and/or PhD with 2 to 3 years.
  • Hands-on experience running technical training, career development, or leadership programs end to end.

Program Design and Learning Expertise

  • Demonstrated experience working directly with engineering teams, with a clear understanding of their mindset, ways of working, and communication preferences; has designed tailored programs to fit how engineers work.
  • Solid understanding of learning science, instructional design, adult learning, and performance consulting; has run needs assessments or gap analyses and turned them into program objectives.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools (copilots, agents, video generation, eLearning authoring) to design, build, and analyze programs and to produce learning content.

Program Execution and Operations

  • Deadline-driven and self-directed; manages multiple projects across teams and time zones in a matrixed, global organization, tracks milestones and risks, makes sound decisions under pressure, and creates structure where none exists.
  • Proven ability to influence, inspire, and build trusted relationships with engineers, managers, mentors, and executive sponsors, backed by excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; able to own a program communication plan, messaging, and branding.
  • Analytical mindset: defines success metrics, drafts surveys, and uses participant, mentor, and manager data to evaluate and improve programs; builds roadmaps, practical governance, and measurable outcomes aligned with engineering strategy.
  • Experience managing program websites, templates, vendors, and budgets.

Preferred

  • Experience at a technology or semiconductor company.
  • Proven experience as a facilitator of workshops and discussions.
