Job Description

Required Skills:

·         Strong troubleshooting knowledge in Wintel, VMware, Citrix & Cloud infrastructure.

·         Preparing root cause analysis & problem management
·         Preferably PowerShell, Linux scripting & automation knowledge.

Good experience on upgradations on citrix versions.
·         Interact with global customer and build customer rapport
·         Coordinate with various teams for the daily operations, plan and execute scheduled activities.
·         Familiarity in configuring and deploying the VDI.
·         Provide timely resolution to all incidents, outages and performance alerts.
·         Coordinate with different technical teams from within organization of remote teams if required for finding a solution.
·         Should be familiar with procedures and formalities required for creating a TAC and ensuring that resolution is provided on time.
·         Recognize, identify and prioritize incidents in accordance with customer business requirements, organizational policies and operational impact
·         Identify issues and risks in the infrastructure and take necessary steps to notify and close the risk.
·         Should be familiar with Change Management process, should be able to prepare action plan, Rollback plan, Mitigation plan etc. should review pre and post change activities.
·         Document all actions in accordance with standard company operational policies and procedures
·         Notify customer and third-party service providers of issues, outages and remediation status
·         Ability to think on feet and provide required remedial activity of all the issues reported to NOC.
·         Should have good working knowledge on Cloud based applications preferably on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud apps.a
·         Work with internal and external technical and service teams to create and/or update knowledge base articles
·         Support Operations of Citrix Environment supporting 10,000 users
·         Design, test, and deploy systems in XenApp 7.15, 1912 ,2203 environment
·         Performs systems administrative and operational duties on computer systems
·         Documents Citrix environment, track and update know issues knowledge base
·         Creation of utilization reports that identify Citrix-related issues, and recommending solutions
·         Performance of systems maintenance in accordance with Microsoft and Citrix best practices
·         Maintain files as required by the vendor of custom design application
·         Perform installation, planning and security of computer facilities
·         Responsible for developing and maintaining systems configuration
·         Respond, investigate, and correct problems
·         Contribute to finding improvements in the hardware, software or infrastructure related services
·         Working to agreed SLAs in order to resolve customer issues in a timely manner
·         Perform critical systems testing and operational tasks (installation and configuration of Servers, script execution, scheduling jobs etc.).
·         Cisco Hyperflex infra and preferably Linux knowledge
·         Working knowledge on Ticketing tools like Manage Engine, Service Now, Remedy etc.
·         Conduct Server health check (Basic health)
·         Generate Farm reports (7.15,1912,2203 LTSR US and TPE environment)
·         Sizing and Capacity Estimation (New Build)
·         Access provisioning and de-provisioning
·         Considerable initiative and discernment relative to problem determination / resolution and telephone etiquette
·         Other duties as assigned

Professional Skills
·         VCE Block infrastructure with Cisco UCSM
·         Windows & VMWare ESXi cluster setup & management
·         VM Server management, migrations etc.
·         Server firmware upgrades (Cisco hardware)
·         Preferably PowerShell, Linux scripting & automation knowledge
·         Implementation, test, deployment, and operational experience with XenApp 7.15,1912,2203 LTSR
·         Operational experience with previous versions of XenApp
·         Ability to translate technical topics into terms line and senior management can discuss
·         Strong customer service and strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
·         Excellent interpersonal skills, especially ability to listen and understand what is being described
·         Working knowledge of Remedy ticket system; creating, updating and closing tickets 
·         Prior experience providing Systems Administration and Citrix support for a medium to large environments
