The Senior Technology Specialist, Executive Support Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Executive Support, this role will provide discreet, first-touch technology support to Okta's C-suite executives and their executive assistants across tickets, Slack, walk-ups, and email. You will support high-visibility meetings and offsites, drive a tailored onboarding experience for new executives, and troubleshoot across macOS, Windows, and mobile devices. You will also share on-call coverage, create knowledge content, and help lead problem management and process improvements. The ideal candidate has an executive presence, stays calm under pressure, and is comfortable with flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver: daily onsite and remote IT support for executives and EAs through ServiceNow, Slack, walk-ups, and email, with a focus on first-touch resolution and SLA performance.
  • Support: white-glove AV and Zoom for executive sessions, leadership offsites, and smaller gatherings in corporate event spaces, onsite and remotely.
  • Onboard: new executives with a personalized Day 1 experience so they are fully set up for success.
  • Troubleshoot: macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android issues, including corporate security alignment and device performance.
  • Investigate: complex incidents, document root causes in RCAs, and find process changes that improve productivity for executives and the support team.
  • Join: a shared on-call rotation for critical executive escalations, including early morning, late night, and weekend coverage.
  • Create: knowledge articles, runbooks, and short videos that enable the GEO support team and executive customers.
  • Contribute: to Workplace Technology projects and travel up to 25% of the time to other Okta offices or offsite events.

What you'll bring to the role

  • 5+ years in enterprise IT support, workplace technology, systems support, or a related technical field.
  • Hands-on, advanced troubleshooting across Mac and PC hardware.
  • Working knowledge of heavily SaaS-based environments, including managing role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Comfort supporting C-suite leaders in high-touch corporate settings.
  • Know-how running AV events, Zoom Rooms, Zoom, and Zoom Phone in corporate spaces.
  • Deep technical range across endpoint management, identity and access, collaboration platforms, networking, and video conferencing or workplace AV.
  • Discretion and integrity in confidential, high-pressure situations, with the composure to stay decisive.
  • A track record of mentoring junior engineers, documenting technical standards, or building reusable cross-training.

And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!

  • Expertise in enterprise AV, video conferencing, live-event technology, or executive meeting environments.
  • Experience with automation, scripting, AI-enabled support, or other tools that reduce repetitive work and improve support quality.
