About the team

Social Media is undergoing a transformation within Circana, making it a strategic and highly valuable commercial function within the business. This starts from understanding the dynamics and key drivers across our markets, right through to brand development, customer experience, demand creation, account-based marketing, content marketing, and more.

We partner extensively across the business to ensure that the key business priorities, plans, and commercial goals of Circana are fully brought to life with energy, passion, and impact. We are results-focused, innovative, and passionate about the role Social Media plays in the continued growth of the company.

What will you be doing?

You will direct and scale Circana’s enterprise-level B2B organic social media strategy, shaping our global market presence and driving engagement that directly impacts our commercial goals. In this senior role, you will lead our overarching content and channel strategies, with a distinct focus on maximizing our reach and actively managing our reputation across LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.

As a senior leader within the social media team, you will champion a video-first approach and establish world-class community management standards. You will guide executive visibility programs, manage stakeholder relationships, and build scalable governance frameworks that protect and elevate our brand reputation. You bring advanced editorial judgment, a proven ability to mentor others, and deep platform expertise to shape how Circana engages globally. You will not just manage channels; you will set the vision for how social insights influence broader business decisions.

Job Responsibilities

Enterprise Social Strategy & Executive Leadership Support (30%)

  • Develop and Direct Circana’s global social media strategy across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and emerging platforms, driving and ensuring deep alignment with commercial objectives and brand positioning.
  • Build and enforce enterprise-wide social governance, establishing clear policies, best practices, and scalable workflows for internal teams and global stakeholders.
  • Develop and lead strategy for executive visibility programs, partnering with top leaders to craft compelling thought leadership narratives that position them as leading industry voices.
  • Mentor team members and cross-functional partners, setting a standard of excellence for social strategy and operational execution.

Community Management & Reputation Stewardship (30%)

  • Define and execute a proactive, robust community management strategy that builds loyal audiences and fosters high-value conversations across all key platforms to impact business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary steward of our social reputation, developing social listening and escalation frameworks, crisis communication protocols, and response and compliance guidelines.
  • Actively guide the brand voice in complex community interactions, ensuring all engagements are authentic, professional, and aligned with our core values.
  • Transform community feedback into actionable business intelligence, sharing insights with product, sales, and leadership teams to inform wider business strategies.

Content, Video Strategy & Creative Direction (20%)

  • Spearhead a high-impact, video-first social strategy, taking heavy ownership of YouTube and Instagram growth while maximizing rich media performance on LinkedIn.
  • Direct the end-to-end creative process for social content, overseeing the production of short-form videos, executive interviews, and dynamic thought-leadership assets.
  • Build scalable content frameworks and repeatable formats that allow global teams to efficiently create high-quality, on-brand assets.
  • Collaborate with creative teams, external agencies, and internal subject matter experts to uncover innovative storytelling opportunities.

Performance Accountability & Employee Advocacy (10%)

  • Drive the strategic expansion of our employee advocacy program, partnering with Internal Communications and HR to scale adoption and measure business impact.
  • Develop and own social performance metrics at the enterprise level, utilizing advanced analytics to translate complex data into clear strategic recommendations for senior leadership across the organization.
  • Host quarterly strategic reviews and monthly office hours to educate marketing stakeholders on social trends, performance insights, and algorithm updates.

People Leadership (10%)

  • Drive structured performance management; setting objectives and providing feedback and mentorship
  • Foster accountability, prioritization, and strong collaboration, while building a foundation for future growth.
  • Set clear expectations, workflows, and goals for social media execution, enabling consistent delivery and continuous improvement across content and performance. 
Requirements
  • 10+ years of social media experience combined with communications and digital marketing experience, specifically leading enterprise-level B2B, SaaS, or corporate strategy.
  • Deep expertise in driving comprehensive community management programs, including proactive engagement, crisis management, public relations and brand reputation stewardship.
  • Proven success scaling YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn channels, with a strong portfolio of video-led social strategies.
  • Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to define governance, build scalable processes, and manage complex stakeholder networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and guide thought leadership initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with advanced editorial judgment.
  • Experience mentoring peers or leading cross-functional task forces.
Tools
  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise social management and listening platforms (Sprout Social, Sprinklr, or Khoros).
  • Deep expertise in video production workflows, YouTube Studio analytics, and editing platforms (CapCut, Premiere, or similar).
  • Expertise natively managing LinkedIn Business Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Strong familiarity with Marketing Automation systems (HubSpot preferred) and CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
  • Proficiency in enterprise project management tools (Wrike, Monday.com, Asana).

Location: This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote, US. (Eastern or Central time zones preferred) 

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000 USD. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
