About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

The Experience
You have 15+ years (20+ preferred) of hands-on software development experience, with a track record of designing, building, and delivering large, complex, enterprise-grade systems. You bring deep expertise in distributed systems, backend technologies, and cloud-native platforms across environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Alibaba Cloud. You've set long-term design strategies spanning multiple complex projects and have a history of crafting and presenting strategic technical reports to executive audiences. You're comfortable working within short release cycles using Agile methodologies such as Scrum, across the full software development lifecycle.
What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Drive end-to-end architecture for mission-critical products and services, defining architectural principles, frameworks, and standards for enterprise-grade scalability and reliability.
  • Partner with senior business and technology leaders to translate complex challenges into actionable technical roadmaps and long-range product strategy.
  • Spearhead integration of artificial intelligence (AI) components into the platform, and dedicate part of your time to hands-on development and proof-of-concepts (POCs) that validate new architectural patterns.
  • Mentor engineers across a large organization, champion continuous improvement in platform reliability, and participate in the on-call rotation to help resolve complex, real-time issues.

You're Our Person If...

  • You have proven experience architecting and implementing distributed systems and cloud-native solutions at enterprise scale.
  • You've independently delivered strategic technical reports and presentations to executive leadership and external audiences.
  • You have strong informal mentorship experience, with a passion for developing engineering talent and fostering open, cross-functional technical discussion.
  • You've worked on publicly released, multi-release products using Agile methodologies.

Even Better If...

  • You take a genuine AI-first approach to engineering — using AI to move faster and build fluency across the stack.
  • You have hands-on experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor.
  • You have advanced prompt engineering skills and experience shaping system context for reliable, production-ready AI outputs.
  • You have experience with Alibaba Cloud specifically, in addition to AWS and GCP.
