About the Team

The Codex Cloud Apps team builds cloud-native agentic products that reimagine how software is created, reviewed, deployed, and operated. We own end-user experiences such as ChatGPT Sites, Code Review, and future agentic automation products that allow individuals and organizations to delegate increasingly complex work to AI.

Our team sits at the intersection of product, engineering, design, and research. We work directly with customers and internal teams to discover entirely new workflows enabled by AI agents, then rapidly turn those ideas into production products used by millions of users and enterprises around the world.

About the Role

In this role, you'll help define what AI-native software products look like. You'll build experiences that allow users to collaborate with AI agents, automate complex workflows, and create entirely new classes of applications that weren't previously possible.

You'll work across product design, backend systems, frontend experiences, enterprise features, and model capabilities to ship products quickly, learn from real-world usage, and continuously improve how people use agents in the cloud.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and build end-to-end agentic product experiences across web, desktop, mobile, APIs, and integrations.

  • Work directly with customers to understand how individuals and organizations adopt AI agents, and translate those insights into product direction.

  • Build products such as AI-powered code review, application generation, workflow automation, and future agentic experiences.

  • Partner closely with research teams to transform new model capabilities into usable, reliable customer-facing features.

  • Design enterprise-ready capabilities including identity, governance, permissions, compliance, auditability, and analytics.

  • Prototype quickly, ship frequently, and use product telemetry and customer feedback to guide iteration.

  • Help define entirely new interaction patterns between humans and AI agents to accomplish tasks together.

You might thrive in this role if you:

  • Have strong full-stack engineering skills and experience shipping customer-facing products from concept to production to refinement.

  • Strong product instincts and a track record of turning ambiguous ideas into successful products.

  • Experience building developer tools, SaaS products, workflow systems, collaboration tools, or AI-powered products.

  • Experience working closely with users and customers and translating feedback into product improvements.

  • Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development workflows and agentic software systems.

  • Experience with enterprise software concepts such as identity, permissions, governance, compliance, and integrations.

  • Comfort working across frontend, backend, APIs, data models, and product design.

  • Enjoy fast-moving 0→1 environments and are excited by defining entirely new categories of software.
