Its team includes alumni of Meta, AWS, Citadel Securities, McKinsey, BCG, and Stanford. The company has raised $3.7 million, is already in production with Fortune 500 customers, and is building the operating platform that makes enterprise agents dependable in real-world environments.

About the role

We are hiring a Software Engineer to build the core platform used to create, monitor, optimize, and deploy autonomous agents. This is a high-ownership role spanning backend engineering, product thinking, enterprise deployment, and hands-on client implementations. You will work onsite in San Francisco's Financial District five to six days per week.

What you will do

• Build and own core components of the platform that runs client AI agents

• Develop production agent implementations and manage deployment and operation

• Design product-level features while implementing robust backend systems

• Package, version, and deploy software into single-tenant and customer-controlled cloud environments

• Make durable architecture decisions across workflow orchestration, infrastructure, and agent reliability

• Identify important problems independently and drive them through production


Requirements

What we are looking for

• Three to five years of backend software engineering experience

• Production experience building AI agents or LLM-based systems used by real customers

• At least two years in an early-stage startup or another high-ambiguity, high-ownership environment

• Strong TypeScript skills and practical familiarity with agent frameworks

• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, containers, and production scaling

• Experience deploying into BYOC, single-tenant, or on-premise environments

• Knowledge of durable execution or workflow orchestration

• A computer science or other technical degree

• High energy, ambition, autonomy, and concise communication

Nice to have

• Experience with Temporal, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Mastra, or the Vercel AI SDK

• Familiarity with both AWS and Google Cloud Platform

• Direct experience improving agent reliability in production

• Experience shipping enterprise software into Fortune 500 environments
