About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the technical side of the sales and implementation process, partnering with founders, customers and engineers to turn early prototypes into live production use. The work blends hands-on coding with direct customer engagement, including some on-site travel.

What you'll do

- Lead technical discovery conversations, design proofs of concept and deliver tailored demos for prospective customers.

- Travel to customer sites (about 10% of the time) to work alongside their teams, scope integrations and write code that helps close deals.

- Plan and run pilot programs with clear success measures, and build ROI models.

- Support customers from kickoff through launch, including mapping their data, configuring workflows and connecting systems through APIs and webhooks.

- Serve as the link between customers and the engineering team, raising edge cases and helping shape the roadmap.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- 1 to 4 years of full stack software engineering experience, ideally in a high-growth B2B setting.

- Time spent at a startup or at a large technology company.

- A track record of releasing customer-facing functionality to production.

- Proficiency in TypeScript.

- Hands-on experience putting AI/ML or multi-step agent-based systems into live use.

- Comfort with AI-assisted development practices, including supervising coding agents.

- Solid grounding in integration design and overall system design, with complete products built and shipped.

- Self-direction and ease with ambiguity, able to make progress without a defined process.

- Real enthusiasm for speaking directly with customers.

- Willingness to travel to customer locations.

Bonus points

- Backgrounds such as engineer turned forward-deployed engineer, founder or product manager, as well as former founders, early-stage engineers and ML specialists.
