- Build data pipelines and automated workflows for generating tasks, preparing reference outputs and validating results.

- Develop quality checks and grading approaches together with subject matter experts.

- Spot unclear instructions, incorrect answers and tasks that encourage unintended behavior.

- Investigate issues found during review or delivery, fix root causes, and apply lessons to later datasets.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- Solid coding ability, with a background in data processing, automation or applied AI work.

- A track record of shipping and maintaining live software in production.

- Having owned projects from first requirements through to launch.

- Skill at translating an open-ended research question into a practical technical plan and testing whether it holds up.

- A meticulous approach to data quality, and comfort digging into individual records to find inconsistencies.

- Clear communication with researchers and domain experts while requirements are still evolving.

- Prior experience in a high-caliber startup environment.

- Must be able to work from the office five days a week in the Bay Area; relocation support is not offered.

Bonus points

- Exposure to autonomous agent setups, model serving or evaluation tooling.

- Familiarity with artificially generated training data.

- Degree from a top engineering university.
