As a Solutions Consultant, you will work closely with our GTM and Product teams to close new business through solution expertise and advise customers on orchestrating new data workflows. For Windfall’s GTM motion, the Solutions Consultant will support several high impact workstreams.

You'll be a trusted technical partner to sales and customer success, a hands-on problem-solver for prospects and customers alike, the face of the product in demos, and a champion for customer needs across our GTM strategy.

You should enjoy solving problems and collaborating with others, and have a strong understanding of the AdTech/MarTech ecosystem. You need to be comfortable working with executive-level stakeholders and experienced product leaders, and be able to facilitate conversations with both technical and nontechnical audiences.

We’re on a mission to change how organizations perceive and use people data. And we hold to our core values of: (1) Be an excellent communicator; (2) Operate with transparency; (3) Provide leverage, not optimization; (4) Win when our customers win; and (5) Act with integrity and trust.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand business problems to find the best technical solution among all possible
  • Design and deliver workflows, tests, and POCs for prospects and customers, and make recommendations for new use cases
  • Partner with commercial sales and customer success as the technical arm of the relationship
  • Build deep relationships with client technical teams that carry from the sales cycle through the life of the account
  • Own the technical health of a book of customers, spotting adoption gaps or risks before they become churn
  • Develop expertise regarding internal tools and administration
  • Describe the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of the technology to project stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain internal relationships with adjoining teams to ensure a seamless experience pre- and post-sale
  • Advise teams on customer feedback on our product and effectiveness of collateral
  • Document customer business objectives, workflow diagrams, and success criteria
  • Lead the technical components of customer-facing presentations, including demos, QBRs, and renewal conversations
  • Conduct/participate in opportunity pre- and post-mortems, assisting with documentation
  • Support account planning, whitespace analysis, and renewal/expansion strategy

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2+ years in an external client-facing role with great EQ is essential
  • Prior experience in Solution(s) Role or AdTech/MarTech/Data industry
  • Scrappiness (We don't have all the answers, but you'll need to find them)
  • Basic computer science skills or interest in self-learning (Command-Line and SQL proficiency will jumpstart your time to value)
  • Great communication skills internally and externally – Prompt response and action when needed, people rarely need to follow up with you
  • Startup personality: smart, ethical, friendly, cross-functional, hardworking, and proactive

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors and/or Masters degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or another quantitative field
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments with little direction
  • Technical experience with analytical tools, methodologies, and design
  • Willingness and desire to learn and adopt new skills - both technical and non-technical - to craft and deliver the best solutions
