Our Vision

Health systems still run critical operations like staffing, labor planning, and capacity on spreadsheets, phone calls, and guesswork.

Vitalize is building the AI operating system for how health systems manage labor and capacity. The impact is real: we save hospitals millions in unnecessary labor spend, give clinical leaders back 10–20 hours every week, and are often the reason staff and leaders stay.

We’re trusted by leading health systems across the country and have raised more than $32M from top healthcare and technology investors, including our own customers.

Our Values

We hire and grow everyone against the same four values. Each one comes from a real Vitalize story. Interview with us to hear them!

  • 🚗 Push the Car. Step in regardless of role. We help wherever we're needed, own problems end to end, and don't stay in our lane. People can count on us.

  • 🏥 Premier 1K. We show up for our customers, always. Nearly everyone visits a customer site in their first month, and customer feedback informs everything we do.

  • 🗣️ Run Towards the Ugly. Name the ugliest truth first, then propose the fix. Candor over comfort — we call out what's broken, and never get complacent. This shapes our craft.

  • 💡 Think Bigger Fridays. See the gap, fill it — no permission required. Every decision is an experiment: we run it, let the results decide, and drive real impact from day one.

About Vitalize's Enterprise Solutions Team

Our customers operate complex technology environments spanning workforce management, HR, payroll, EHRs, identity, security, and other enterprise systems. As Vitalize takes on larger health systems and expands what our platform can do, the technical complexity of selling, deploying, and supporting our product grows with it.

Enterprise Solutions exists to make that complexity scalable. The function bridges Growth and Post-Sales — ensuring we understand what's technically possible before we sell it, customers are technically ready to go live, and the hardest problems we encounter become repeatable solutions the broader team can own. Done well, Enterprise Solutions helps us activate revenue faster, make deployments more predictable, and scale to increasingly complex customers without scaling technical support linearly.

The Role

You’ll be one of the first two Enterprise Solutions hires at Vitalize, building the function from scratch alongside a peer focused on workforce and payroll systems. Together you’ll define what Enterprise Solutions becomes as our customer base and Post-Sales organization grow.

You’ll own the clinical systems that tell a hospital how much care it needs to staff for: EHRs (Epic, Oracle Health, Meditech, and similar), the interface engines around them, and adjacent acuity and assignment tools. Today that means real-time census, ADT, and acuity data that drives staffing decisions. As Vitalize expands into patient flow and capacity management, your scope grows with it.

Success means EHR integrations that are feasible, secure, and repeatable; deployments that aren’t stalled by interface-team backlogs or security reviews; and a team that becomes increasingly self-sufficient on clinical data because the hardest problems you solve become playbooks, tools, and repeatable capabilities.

What You’ll Do
  • Own clinical-data solutioning across the customer lifecycle: Bridge Growth and Post-Sales so that what we sell can be deployed and supported, carrying critical technical context from pre-signature discovery through implementation and post-launch

  • Lead EHR discovery on enterprise deals: Partner with Growth before commitments are made to understand EHR vendor and version, interface engine (Epic Bridges, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Mirth, or similar), available feeds (HL7 v2 ADT, FHIR, vendor APIs), where acuity and assignment data lives, interface-team capacity, and security and privacy requirements

  • Get hospital interface and security teams to “yes”: Scope the smallest useful feed, minimize the patient data we take in, and guide integrations through security, privacy, and compliance review

  • Partner with Deployments to drive clinical-data readiness: Set the standards for unit and department mapping, feed testing, and census validation against what managers actually see. Step into complex deployments where needed while enabling Deployment Strategists to own increasingly sophisticated workstreams

  • Grow our footprint into flow and capacity: As Vitalize expands into patient flow and capacity management, extend our EHR integrations into bed management, transfers, ED boarding, and discharge planning data

  • Build technical leverage across Vitalize: Create reusable EHR integration patterns, discovery guides, documentation, and training. Partner with Product on when to go through an EHR vendor marketplace versus a direct interface

  • Turn customer requirements into product signal: Identify recurring clinical-data requirements and blockers across our pipeline and customer base. Partner with Product and Engineering to decide when the answer is better enablement, a new integration, or a scalable platform capability

What You’ll Bring
  • Hands-on EHR integration experience: You’ve integrated with or implemented a major EHR (Epic, Oracle Health, Meditech, or similar), for example as an Epic analyst, interface engineer, or clinical integration architect

  • Interoperability fluency: HL7 v2 (especially ADT), FHIR, interface engines, and the realities of hospital interface-team backlogs and change control

  • Security and privacy instincts: Working knowledge of HIPAA, minimizing PHI, BAAs, and healthcare security reviews

  • You can lead technical solutioning with enterprise customers: You’re comfortable with CIO organizations, clinical informatics, interface teams, and security teams, from pre-sales through implementation and escalation

  • You create leverage, not dependency: Your instinct after solving a difficult problem is to turn the solution into something others can repeat

  • You know when Engineering is needed and when it isn’t: You can distinguish implementation issues, configuration problems, integration limitations, and true product gaps

  • You can bridge GTM and Post-Sales: You know how to advance a complex enterprise deal without creating promises the delivery team can’t keep

  • You want to build something from zero: You’re excited to define a new function, not inherit one

  • Clinical operations context is a major plus: You understand how census, ADT, and acuity drive nurse staffing ratios and patient assignments, or you’ve worked with patient flow and capacity tools (bed boards, transfer centers, capacity command centers)

Logistics
  • Location: Anywhere in the US with 40–50% travel to customer sites. If you’re SF-based and want a hybrid setup, you’re welcome to work from our HQ in Jackson Square

  • Reports to: COO

Benefits
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) with company match
