SUMMARY
As a Sr. Director, Ad Sales, you will manage all aspects of advertising sales for a region/market. You serve as an influential leader who coaches and develops staff, implements sales strategies, manages inventory, forecasts revenue, and recruits and retain top sales talent. Collaboration is the core of your work as you will work with a variety of clients and internal partners to drive revenue generation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Advertising sales is an exciting and ever-changing digital environment. On any given day, you'll find yourself cultivating connections with clients, embracing the latest and greatest media trends, and collaborating with agency partners on advertising solutions.
  • Seeking and pursuing revenue opportunities for the business
  • Developing and cultivating both internal and external relationships
  • Drive revenue growth and own the P&L for advertising sales across the region, setting and delivering against annual and quarterly revenue targets across linear, digital, and local advertising products.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales managers and account executives, setting performance expectations, managing pipeline and forecasting, and building a strong sales culture and talent bench.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with top local, regional, and agency clients, acting as the primary point of escalation and partnering on strategic account planning for key accounts.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, research, product, and national sales teams to develop competitive pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies tailored to the local market.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and advertiser spend patterns to identify new revenue opportunities and adjust sales strategy, while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • Experience: Media/Ad sales management (5+ years)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent work experience
  • Skills: Communication, leadership, negotiation, strategy, collaboration
  • Abilities: Relationship building, sales lead conversion, managing deadlines and priorities, developing new business opportunities

Preferred
  • Senior Leadership experience in advertising/media
