Position Overview:

TrueNAS is seeking a Sr. Director/VP of Global Channels to lead and scale our global partner ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this is a highly strategic, revenue-carrying leadership role responsible for driving joint go-to-market (GTM) execution between TrueNAS’ field organization and our valued partners.


As the Sr. Director/VP of Global Channels you will own the end-to-end partner ecosystem, encompassing partner strategy, commercial management, and partner-enabled delivery. You will lead and mentor a dedicated team focused on developing repeatable co-sell motions, driving strategic account mapping, accelerating joint pipeline, and ensuring that partner-led customer opportunities progress seamlessly from initial identification through successful deployment.
This is a remote position in the United States or Europe. 


Base Pay Range

The on-target-earnings for this position is $280,000 - $315,000. The applicable compensation range may vary based on the state and geographic region in which the candidate is hired. Please note that the provided range reflects the pay spectrum for positions within the same job category as the one to which this position belongs. The final offer will consider various factors, such as location, education, and prior experience, to ensure a comprehensive and fair compensation assessment.

Expected Posting Timelines

This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, a maximum of 90 days.


The Day-to-Day

The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Drive Ecosystem Strategy: Refine and execute TrueNAS’ global ecosystem strategy to materially impact pipeline generation and bookings contribution across distribution, value added reseller, consulting/referral and strategic technology alliance partnerships.
  • Lead a Global Team: Coach, develop, and lead a high-performing global ecosystem team responsible for executing TrueNAS’ partner go-to-market strategy, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer obsession.
  • Align Partner Capabilities: Ensure partner capacity, capabilities, and commitments perfectly align with TrueNAS’ broader business objectives.
  • Accelerate Revenue & Pipeline: Drive global partner-attached revenue by building scalable co-marketing, co-sell, and deployment motions across commercial verticals, Federal / SLED, and sovereign international deployments.
  • Optimize Territory Execution: Accelerate pipeline growth through strategic account mapping and close partnership with Sales leadership on territory and opportunity execution.
  • Manage Partner Health: Conduct executive business reviews with strategic partners to consistently assess revenue performance, pipeline health, delivery readiness, and joint business priorities.
  • Design Partner Programs: Launch and continually refine TrueNAS’ global partner program structure—including tiers, benefits, requirements, and incentives—to drive ecosystem health and revenue impact.
  • Oversee Enablement: Direct the development and execution of partner enablement and certification programs, ensuring curricula, certification paths, and evaluation mechanisms stay aligned with product updates and GTM priorities.


Education and Experience

  • Experienced Leader: 10+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure and SaaS enterprise sales, partnerships, or GTM leadership with senior multi-region or multi-country responsibility.
  • Proven Track Record: A consistent history of delivering against and exceeding pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Industry Expertise: Direct experience within the storage infrastructure, storage/data management software, or related technology sectors.
  • Education & Mobility: Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree preferred). Willingness to travel internationally as needed to support global partnerships.
