Provides support and/or lead teams through the Engineering development process and implementation of company’s products.

Management Level Definition:

Contributions have substantial technical impact on a significant HPE product/project, or a strategic/architectural direction. Go-to creator and innovator for critical business challenges and opportunities. Substantial, unique contributions provide long-lasting, recurring benefits like time-to-market improvements, cost reductions, or satisfying future and current unmet customer needs. Recognized internal authority on key technology areas. Provides technical leadership to the business for significant project/program work. Responsibilities:

The Quality Program Manager is responsible for leading strategic software and hardware quality improvement initiatives across the HPE Networking portfolio. The role drives quality governance, continuous improvement, release quality, product reliability, and operational excellence through cross-functional leadership and data-driven decision making.

  • Define and execute portfolio-wide quality improvement roadmaps.
  • Establish quality governance processes, executive reviews, and operating rhythms.
  • Drive organizational alignment around quality goals, metrics, and accountability.
  • Champion a quality-first culture across engineering and operations teams.
  • Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with business unit management and internal partners to recommend and implement changes to products, processes, or business practices to drive continuous improvement and manage program costs.
  • Leads with authority and offers guidance and mentorship to less-experienced team members to set an example of program management innovation and excellence.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
  • PMP/PMI certification preferred Typically 10+ years’ experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience managing programs and projects, designing, implementing processes, tools and governance in the areas of HW and SW quality improvement.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, understanding of organizational strategy, and successful experience managing all aspects of cross- business unit programs, including communicating with internal and external stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.
  • History of innovation with examples of developing new technical, engineering and/or manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language, with an excellent ability to communicate nuanced concepts and influence in written and oral communications with a broad vocabulary.
  • Ability to effectively communicate program management architectures, plans, proposals, and results, while also negotiating options at business unit levels.

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level.
– United States of America: Annual Salary USD 174,000 - 352,500 in California
The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
