Description
As a Senior Product Designer focused on the salesperson experience, you'll design the tools CDW sellers use to manage accounts, configure and price solutions, develop quotes, and move opportunities to purchase. By reducing friction in these workflows, you'll help sellers spend less time navigating tools and more time building customer relationships and solving complex technology challenges. Your work will focus primarily on enterprise tools built within Salesforce, where great design requires balancing seller needs, business goals, technical constraints, and platform capabilities. You'll be part of the Digital Design team and work closely with Research, Product Management, and Engineering in an evolving product environment. We're looking for a designer with strong craft, a builder's mindset, and comfort with ambiguity. You'll bring a clear point of view on the value of design while staying pragmatic and flexible about how work moves from concept to production.
What You Will Do:
* Own design from discovery to launch, collaborating across teams to deliver consistent, coherent, and distinctly CDW experiences.
* Deliver high-quality experiences within Salesforce, applying strong interaction, visual, content, information architecture, and accessibility craft within the capabilities and constraints of the platform.
* Partner closely with a dedicated UX Researcher to uncover seller needs, behaviors, and opportunities beyond stated requirements. Synthesize research, analytics, feedback, and business context to inform design decisions.
* Partner with Product Management and Engineering to shape product decisions, balance coworker needs with business and technical considerations, and turn insights into practical solutions.
* Build shared understanding and alignment through clear design rationale, storytelling, facilitation, and collaboration across a large, complex organization.
* Think beyond individual features to design for the broader seller workflow and anticipate dependencies, edge cases, and downstream impacts across experiences and systems.
* Stay engaged through implementation, working closely with developers to resolve questions and constraints, adapt designs when needed, and preserve the intent and quality of the experience in the production product.
* Navigate ambiguity and evolving ways of working, bringing structure where it helps while remaining flexible about roles, process, and how work moves forward.
* Evaluate and improve production experiences using qualitative and quantitative signals to identify opportunities that improve seller and business outcomes.
* Contribute to the broader design practice through peer collaboration and critique.
What We Expect of You:
* Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of design experience OR 9+ years of design experience
* Portfolio or work samples demonstrating strong design craft and judgment across complex, interconnected workflows, including the ability to connect design decisions to user and business outcomes
* Experience independently leading design from discovery through implementation, working closely with Research, Product Management, and Engineering
* Ability to work effectively within technical and platform constraints, partnering with developers to make thoughtful tradeoffs while maintaining the intent and quality of the experience
* Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, influence product decisions, and collaborate across team and organizational boundaries
* Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (Figma, design systems, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Human Factors, HCI, or related discipline
* Experience designing B2B products and workflows
* Experience designing internal enterprise tools that support complex employee workflows
* Experience designing within Salesforce, CRM, CPQ, or similarly constrained enterprise platforms Pay range: $ 125,000 - $ 137,000 depending on experience and skill set A Benefits overview: https://cdw.benefit-info.com/ Salary ranges may be subject to geographic differentials quarterly bonus target of 10% subject to terms and conditions of plan
