The Team + The Role

Pendo's Product Marketing team translates what we build into why it matters. The team works at the intersection of product, revenue, and marketing, owning the narratives, positioning, and go-to-market motions that drive pipeline and commercial outcomes. It operates as a small, senior team with high ownership, low overhead, and a strong bias toward work that moves the business forward.

Pendo is looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to play a key role in our growing Enterprise business. You will partner closely across Product, Sales, and Marketing to package and position Pendo's offerings as powerful solutions for Enterprise clients. This is an individual contributor role for a builder who can create, test, adapt, and make an immediate impact in a fast-moving, AI-native environment.

This is a remote role in the US. We have offices in San Francisco, CA, Raleigh, NC, or New York, NY.

What this looks like day-to-day
  • Enterprise positioning: Own and maintain clear, concise, and impactful solutions messaging for the Enterprise market. Translate Pendo's product capabilities into value-driven narratives that resonate with Enterprise buyers.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate strategically with Product, PMM, Sales, and Marketing teams to package and position Pendo's offerings for Enterprise clients. Serve as a key conduit between Enterprise go-to-market teams and Product by bringing field feedback into product conversations.
  • Flexible execution: Move fluidly across adjacent work as priorities shift, including solutions marketing, growth-hacker-style experiments, and demand-gen support. Adapt quickly rather than staying in a single fixed lane.
  • AI-enabled GTM: Leverage AI tools and workflows, including building agents, to accelerate research, content creation, and go-to-market execution. Use AI as a practical multiplier for how you work and what you ship.
  • Market research: Conduct in-depth research to define, understand, and articulate the distinct needs and opportunities within the Enterprise landscape for Pendo. Use that insight to shape messaging, campaign direction, and sales conversations.
  • Sales partnership: Forge strong partnerships with the Enterprise Sales team to understand their requirements, challenges, and revenue opportunities. Participate in strategic Enterprise deals by providing product and solutions expertise.
  • Testing and iteration: Rapidly test, learn, and adapt messaging and campaigns in a fast-changing environment. Use feedback from the market, Sales, and Product to improve the work quickly.
  • Enterprise content: Develop compelling content and collateral for Enterprise audiences, including presentations, white papers, and case studies. Ensure materials are clear, persuasive, and aligned to the needs of Enterprise buyers.
  • Enterprise strategy support: Elevate and accelerate Pendo's overall Enterprise marketing strategy and execution. Contribute strategically to competitive intelligence, pricing considerations, and enablement programs tailored for the Enterprise market.
Who You Are

Beyond the qualifications, we hire through a specific lens. These aren't buzzwords; they're the things we'll actually look for in how you talk about your work.

You're a builder, not a maintainer.

You're most energized when there isn't a clear path yet, and you get to define it. You don't wait for direction; you identify gaps, shape solutions, and drive them forward. At Pendo, great Sr. Product Marketing Managers don't just follow instructions; they operate as strategic advisors, influencing decisions, guiding stakeholders, and elevating how we work.

You're AI-curious - genuinely.

You're not using AI tools occasionally. You're rewiring how you work around them. You're faster, sharper, and more prolific because of it, and you bring that energy to everything — how you approach your work, how you prep, how you communicate, how you think. We want someone who sees AI as a multiplier, not a shortcut.

Must-haves
  • A proven track record of building and shipping product marketing work, with depth of ownership that matters more than the number of years in seat.
  • Experience creating, testing, and adapting product marketing work in fast-moving, high-growth, startup, or similarly ambiguous environments.
  • AI fluency, including comfort working in an AI-shaped environment and using AI tools or workflows to improve research, content creation, and execution.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity, move across shifting priorities, and flex into adjacent areas such as solutions marketing, growth, and demand generation.
  • Exceptional ability to translate technical product features into compelling, value-driven solutions for buyers.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and developing targeted messaging.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
Nice-to-haves
  • Experience building AI agents or workflows to accelerate product marketing or go-to-market work.
  • Experience supporting Enterprise marketing, Enterprise sales motions, or strategic Enterprise deals.
  • Experience contributing to competitive intelligence, pricing considerations, or enablement programs tailored for Enterprise markets.
  • Experience developing Enterprise-facing collateral such as presentations, white papers, and case studies.
