Role Description

Form Energy is looking for an exceptional Global Supply Manager to help build something that has never existed before: a global supply base for a breakthrough energy storage technology. This role reports to the Director of Global Supply Management (GSM). You will hunt for the best suppliers on the planet, crack open new markets, and build sourcing strategies from scratch. You will work side by side with Form’s Leadership, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to turn bold technical ambitions into a real, resilient supply chain. If you want your fingerprints on a category that doesn't exist in any playbook yet, this is your seat at the table.

Relocation assistance is available.

What you'll do:
  • This posting is category agnostic - we care less about which category you've worked in and more about the strength of your judgment, negotiation skill, and ability to master new technical domains fast. If you believe you have exceptional abilities in the world of procurement and supplier management, we want to hear from you!

  • As part of Form’s world class Supply Chain team, you will:

    • Take full ownership of a strategic sourcing category at Form - the supply base, the relationships, the contracts, and everything up the value chain to raw materials and sub-tier vendors

    • Partner closely with Leadership, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Supply Chain to shape and drive Form's sourcing strategy

    • Win exceptional commercial terms through sharp negotiation - pricing, lead times, and risk - and run the full sourcing process end to end, from supplier discovery through qualification, negotiation, and contracting.

    • Protect Form from risk by digging deep into costs, running sharp risk analyses, and calling industry trends early

    • Build category strategy and playbooks from first principles: no roadmap, no precedent, just your judgment and expertise.

    • Stay ahead of the market and track supplier capacity, competitive dynamics, technology roadmaps, and shifts in supply and demand before anyone else sees them coming

What you'll bring:
  • A proven track record in strategic sourcing, with sharp instincts for market and pricing mechanics and manufacturing processes, built in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment

  • The ability to parachute into a brand-new category, learn it fast, and go deep on the technical details, with limited hand-holding and oversight

  • Fluency in commercial terms, contract structures, and IP concepts

  • A fact-driven, detail-obsessed mind and an ability to make thoughtful decisions even with incomplete information

  • A history of leading high-stakes negotiations or turning around a broken supplier relationship, with results to prove it

  • Magnetic communication skills - you build trust fast, rally people around a plan, and make things happen

  • Ability to work in the US and travel globally as needed
