You move fast with good judgment, dig deep with curiosity, and make decisions from first principles, balancing speed and rigor.
You're humble and collaborative; turn zero-to-one ideas into real products, and you "get stuff done" end-to-end. You use AI to work smarter and solve problems faster. Here, you'll tackle complex, high-visibility problems with exceptional teammates and grow your career as we build the future of global banking. If that sounds like you, let's build what's next.
What you'll do:
As a Staff Product Manager, GTPN (Global Treasury & Payment Network), you will drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for our customer-facing API platform, enabling global treasury and payment solutions at scale. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and leadership to deliver innovative, scalable, and secure API products that empower our customers and partners to build next-generation financial experiences. This is a high-impact, strategic role with the opportunity to shape the future of global payments and financial infrastructure. This role is based in San Francisco.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for GTPN APIs, from ideation to delivery and ongoing optimization.
- Develop and champion the strategic vision and roadmap for the platform, balancing long-term innovation with short-term business needs.
- Engage directly with enterprise customers, developers, and partners to understand their needs, gather feedback, and validate product features.
- Translate complex use cases into scalable, secure, and intuitive APIs in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Lead cross-functional teams-including engineering, design, sales, compliance, and data science-to deliver impactful solutions.
- Use data-driven methods to define and measure success metrics, prioritize requirements, and communicate plans and launches.
- Represent GTPN in strategic conversations with senior stakeholders and enterprise partners.
- Mentor and lead other product managers, with the opportunity to grow into a broader leadership role.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in payments, APIs, and financial technology, and leverage AI/ML where relevant to drive product innovation.
Who you are
We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:

- Proven track record of defining, building, and launching successful, scalable API-powered platforms or products.
- Deep technical understanding of API design principles, security, and developer experience.
- Experience considering both user requirements and commercial strategy to drive meaningful product growth.
- Strong ability to manage trade-offs between long-term vision and short-term execution.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working in data-driven, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Flexibility to work across multiple time zones and with global teams.
- Exceptional English and Chinese communication skills are highly valued.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with global card networks (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and banking partners.
- Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger, Postman, GitHub, or API client tooling.
- Hands-on experience as a developer is a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, KYC/AML, and card network rules.
- Experience in hyper-growth startup environments, financial infrastructure, or technology.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Passion for solving complex problems at the intersection of finance, artificial intelligence, and developer platforms.
