About Us

We're living through a fundamental shift in how people discover, evaluate, and purchase products. The next generation doesn't respond to traditional marketing -- they build relationships with brands through authentic social interactions, seek recommendations from communities they trust, and expect personalized experiences that feel human, not corporate.

At Nectar Social, we're building the AI-native social operating system that enables this new era of commerce. We believe every social interaction should deepen the relationship between brands and their communities while creating genuine value for both sides.

Founded by ex-Meta product and engineering leaders, we've raised over $30M in total capital from investors including GV and True Ventures. We work with brands like Oura Health, Caraway, e.l.f. Cosmetics, Kosas, OLIPOP, and many more. We're building the future of social commerce -- where community, conversation, and commerce converge.

The Role

We're looking for a Strategic Account Executive to drive transformational sales into top-tier global consumer brands, conglomerates, and multi-brand organizations. In this role, you'll own high-value, complex deal cycles for target accounts adopting AI-powered workflows across social, marketing, creator, and customer experience teams.

You'll partner directly with executive leadership, go-to-market, and product teams to secure high-ACV partnerships and navigate multi-entity organizations to make Nectar Social their core operating system. This is a high-impact, highly consultative role at the intersection of AI, social commerce, and strategic SaaS growth.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Target High-Value Strategic Accounts: Run bespoke account-based strategies (ABS) to penetrate, land, and expand within top-tier global consumer brands, enterprise portfolios, and holding companies.

  • Orchestrate Transformational Deals: Drive complex, multi-year commercial agreements with high ACVs across multiple lines of business, subsidiary brands, and global business units.

  • Lead Executive-Level Alignment: Build multi-threaded relationships across C-level decision-makers (CMOs, Chief Digital Officers, VP of Growth) to align Nectar’s AI platform with core corporate transformation initiatives.

  • Co-Create Strategic Business Cases: Develop tailored ROI models, financial business cases, and strategic transformation roadmaps for executive buying committees and boards.

  • Quarterback Internal & External Resources: Direct cross-functional deal teams to win and scale priority accounts.

  • Shape the Product & Market Strategy: Feed high-level enterprise and market requirements directly back to Product and Engineering leadership to influence our long-term roadmap.

  • Represent Nectar at Executive Forums: Engage with key leaders at industry summits, executive roundtables, and board-level meetings to expand our footprint in target strategic accounts.

What We're Looking For
  • 6+ years of B2B SaaS closing experience, with a proven track record of exceeding quota in Strategic / Key Accounts managing six- and seven-figure deal sizes.

  • Deep Consumer Brand Domain Expertise: Experience selling into major consumer platforms across e-commerce, beauty, CPG, retail, or multi-brand conglomerates.

  • Expand Deals: Grow six-figure footholds within multi-brand portfolios into 7-figure partnerships.

  • Mastery of Complex Sales Frameworks: Proven expertise in value-based sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger) navigating matrixed organizations, global procurement, and complex legal structures.

  • Exceptional Executive Presence: Demonstrated ability to pitch, negotiate, and advise C-suite executives and senior leadership teams.

  • Business Transformation Lens: Ability to position software as a strategic growth catalyst rather than a point solution or tactical tool.

  • High Ownership & Resource Orchestration Skills: Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving startup environment while effectively leveraging internal executive sponsors.

Bonus Points
  • Experience selling AI, automation, or social media management platforms at the strategic tier.

  • Founding AE experience or built out a new market or segment

  • Pre-existing relationships with C-level marketing, digital, or technology leaders at major global consumer brands.

  • Experience at a high-growth Series A or Series B startup scaling strategic sales motions.

  • Deep familiarity with AI-native tools, workflow automation, and modern social commerce ecosystems.

What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation and early equity

  • Health, vision, and dental benefits + 401(k) match

  • Hybrid work schedule (4 days in office) with 3 flex remote days per quarter (available after 3 months)

  • Comprehensive stipends: $1,000/month housing stipend for living near the office, $50/month mobile stipend, $50/month internet stipend for remote employees, and commuter benefits (train stipend or Palo Alto parking permit reimbursement)

  • Free lunch in the heart of University Ave. in Palo Alto

  • Clear career growth opportunities as the company scales
