The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own client-facing project delivery from kickoff to completion, coordinating groups of subject-matter specialists and partnering with internal colleagues. This is an early, high-responsibility position suited to a seasoned legal professional who stays effective under pressure and tight timelines.
What you'll do
- Partner with external clients to deliver polished, research-driven work products that contribute to company revenue.
- Lead and coordinate groups of domain specialists from fields such as finance, engineering and science.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues on research efforts.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives as an early member of the organization.
- Support a variety of operational projects across the business.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- A law degree (JD or equivalent) and hands-on legal experience, including writing agreements, advocating, representing clients or giving counsel rather than purely administrative support.
- Excellent legal analysis and research skills, with a clear view of what makes work thorough rather than superficial.
- A degree from a highly regarded university in the US, Canada or Europe, unless your background is otherwise exceptional.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
- A self-starting mindset and the ability to carry projects from start to finish independently.
- A background in a demanding, fast-moving setting such as consulting, finance or an early-stage company.
- Willingness to work extended hours when needed and to be in the office five days a week, with a half day or remote work on Sundays.

- Prior exposure to legal technology, legal advisory work or private practice.
