We are driven by a commitment to thoroughly understand challenges and develop innovative solutions without shortcuts. We encourage team members to engage collaboratively and constructively challenge boundaries to achieve exceptional outcomes. This role is perfect for proactive individuals who thrive in a hands-on environment, fully immersing themselves in addressing technical challenges and pushing beyond comfort zones.

Your role:

  • Contribute specialized knowledge to products with a vast install base used by premium customers like renowned hospitals in Europe and North America.
  • Join a team of seasoned experts to gain insights and learn from leading professionals in the field.
  • Engage in both development and maintenance work, with a shift towards more development as maintenance efforts decrease.

  • A career at Philips comes with all sorts of wonderful benefits. Be sure to speak to your recruiter about benefits in your region.

You're the right fit if:

  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • You have 5+ years of software development experience with proficiency in C# and C++ and are familiar with complex architectures, including webserver internals, debugging, and crash dumps.
  • You have the ability to delve into detailed analysis for resolving escalated issues and complex problems, ensuring thorough and innovative solutions.
  • You have experience in scaling products and systems to accommodate future growth needs.
  • You have excellent communication skills with fluency in English; effective in engaging and constructively challenging global cross-functional teams.
  • You have a commitment to excellence with a proactive, hands-on approach to tackling technical challenges. Detail-oriented, ensuring high-quality outcomes and meticulous attention to detail.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This role is an office role.

This role is not open to a relocation.
