We are a busy mid-sized dynamic & growing CPA Firm in the San Fernando Valley seeking a Tax Accountant/Preparer that will assist our Tax Department with all necessary tasks.
Our team looks at success as epitomizing exceptional customer service skills, strong accounting knowledge, and adapting to changing technology to service our clients.
Candidates should have the following:
3+ years of experience in an accounting and tax position.
Excellent research and writing skills.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent computer skills using the Microsoft Office Suite
Intuit ProSeries and QuickBooks experience preferred
Completion of CTEC Continued Education
Valid and Current PTIN
Responsibilities:
Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities.
Maintaining accurate financial records.
Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
Tax Preparation - Individual and Corporate
Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
