Coder is hiring a Technical Enablement Manager to build the programs, content, and learning experiences that help our technical sellers do their best work. You will support Solutions Engineers, Solution Architects, CSMs, and TAMs with practical enablement that makes complex technical conversations clearer, sharper, and more effective.

Reporting to the Head of Sales Enablement, you will partner closely with Customer Solutions to understand what technical sellers need in the field. You will turn that insight into onboarding, training, technical content, and AI-enabled workflows that help our teams learn faster and sell with confidence.

What you’ll do here

  • Design and deliver specialized onboarding for technical seller personas, including Solutions Engineers, Solution Architects, CSMs, and TAMs.

  • Build sessions, materials, and assessments from scratch so new technical sellers ramp with clarity and confidence.

  • Develop and maintain a library of technical enablement content, including demo guides, technical objection handling frameworks, competitive technical positioning, hands-on labs, and field-ready reference materials.

  • Run ongoing enablement programs for the technical seller community, including regular training sessions, product update briefings, and skill-building workshops tied to real deal scenarios.

  • Partner closely with the Customer Solutions team to understand what technical sellers need in the field.

  • Translate field needs into practical programs, useful content, and repeatable learning experiences.

  • Use AI tools to build smarter workflows, accelerate content creation, and find new ways to support technical sellers more efficiently.

  • Stay deeply curious about Coder’s product and the technical landscape around it.

  • Build enough product fluency to be credible in a room with Solutions Engineers, Solution Architects, and technical customer teams.

What we’re looking for

  • 2–4 years of experience in technical enablement, solutions engineering, technical training, or a role focused on enabling technical seller personas.

  • Strong technical aptitude and curiosity. You do not need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable learning a complex product and turning that knowledge into accurate, useful enablement.

  • Proven ability to design and facilitate training for technical audiences.

  • A practical approach to making complex concepts clear, memorable, and useful for practitioners.

  • Hands-on experience using AI in your own work, with strong opinions about where it helps teams move faster and where it does not.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • The ability to create content that is technically credible, field-ready, and built for practitioners.

  • Comfort operating with limited structure in a fast-moving, build-from-scratch environment.

  • High ownership, strong judgment, and the ability to own your domain as a P3 individual contributor.

Bonus tacos if you have

  • Prior experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Customer Solutions.

  • Experience enabling sellers in developer tools, infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, or platform engineering.

  • Experience building onboarding programs from scratch for technical go-to-market teams.

Interview process

We believe that the interview process should be transparent, consistent, and enjoyable. We value your time and hope to complete the interview process in two to four weeks, if schedules allow. Through your interviews, you will meet a mix of individual contributors, managers, and senior leaders.

AI use during the interview process

As an AI company, Coder embraces the use of AI tools, and we want to be transparent about our expectations as you navigate our interview process.

Not permitted: Using AI assistance during conversational interviews.

Permitted: Using AI tooling for take-home assessments. Please flag where and to what extent it was used in your take-home. Your submission will not be penalized for using AI as long as it is done honestly.

Our use of AI in hiring

We use AI tools to help manage our recruitment process efficiently and fairly. Specifically:

  • Ashby helps us review inbound applications by surfacing candidates who best match the role requirements we've defined. This tool does not make hiring decisions - it helps our team prioritize which applications to review first.

  • Granola takes notes during our interview calls so our team can focus on the conversation with you.

All hiring decisions are made by humans. Our team reviews applications, conducts interviews, and makes final selections. AI tools assist us but never replace human judgment, and these practices are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection, AI governance, and labor laws. Your data is not used to train AI models.

In accordance with New York City Local Law 144, an independent bias audit has been conducted on "Automated Employment Decision Tools"; results are available for Ashby.

If you're applying for a role at Coder and have questions about how we use AI in our process, or if you'd like to request information about the data we collect, please contact [email protected].
