Technical Program Manager - Power Electronics

As a Technical Program Manager for Power Electronics, you won't just manage schedules; you will own the end-to-end execution of complex, industry-defining engineering programs from initial concept through volume manufacturing. You will serve as the critical linchpin aligning our global engineering, supply chain, and external partners. If you are a leader who thrives on ambiguity, possesses deep engineering knowledge, and wants to leave a lasting impact on global energy infrastructure, we want you on our team.

Lunar Energy was founded to transition homes to 100% clean energy—making our electricity greener, our air cleaner and our energy more safe, secure and reliable for all. We’re a fast-growing, global company building the world’s best clean energy products to electrify all homes and connect communities to form clean, resilient virtual power plants.

On a given day at Lunar, you'll likely…

  • Own end-to-end planning, scheduling, and execution of mission-critical power electronics programs, ensuring aggressive milestones are met and risks are surfaced early
  • Serve as the connective tissue across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and product quality—aligning global teams and resolving roadblocks without relying on direct authority
  • Drive technical design reviews and guide design trade-offs to ensure robust performance, manufacturability, and schedule integrity
  • Develop and communicate mitigation strategies for budget, resource, and timeline risks before they become blockers
  • Coordinate prototype and early-stage production builds with contract manufacturers, rapidly identifying and resolving issues to accelerate time-to-market
  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve technical outcomes, and drive operational efficiency across the program

Desired Skills:

  • BS or MS in an Engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience
  • 3–5 years of hands-on program management experience in power electronics, PCBA design, hardware development, or systems engineering
  • Demonstrated success taking complex, multi-disciplinary programs from concept to high-volume production
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills; comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Clear communicator who can distill technical complexity into actionable insights for engineering teams, vendors, and executive leadership
  • Genuine passion for renewable energy and building the infrastructure needed to accelerate the clean energy transition

Benefits:

We’re dedicated to creating a remarkable employee experience. At Lunar, competitive base pay is one part of our total compensation package. Lunar employees also have the opportunity to become Lunar shareholders by getting equity in a fast-growing company and participating in our employee stock program.
