Position Overview

As the Technical Recruiter at Doss, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top engineering and technical talent that will drive our product forward. You’ll partner closely with our CTO, Head of Engineering, and Product leadership to build high-performing teams across Engineering, Product, Data, and Design.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves building from scratch, and has a proven track record of technical recruiting for early-stage teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesOwn Full-Cycle Technical Recruiting
  • Manage end-to-end hiring for Software Engineering, Product Management, Product Design, Data Engineering, DevOps/SRE, QA, and related technical roles.

  • Build strong top-of-funnel pipelines across backend, frontend, full-stack, platform, data, and product disciplines.

Build and Scale Hiring Infrastructure
  • Establish scalable recruiting processes, interview loops, scorecards, and candidate evaluation frameworks for a rapidly growing engineering organization.

  • Manage ATS hygiene, reporting, and funnel analytics to ensure operational excellence.

Partner with Leadership
  • Work directly with technical and executive leaders to create hiring plans, calibrate profiles, and align on competencies.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor on talent market intelligence, compensation benchmarking, and team structure.

Drive Candidate Experience Excellence
  • Create a high-touch, founder-level candidate experience reflective of Doss’s values: clarity, precision, speed, and empathy.

  • Communicate proactively and transparently with candidates throughout the entire process.

Source & Engage the Best Talent
  • Build proactive sourcing strategies leveraging outbound sourcing, referrals, engineering communities, events, and creative channels.

  • Evangelize the Doss mission and technical vision to top-performing engineers and product builders.

About You
  • 3–7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years hiring for technical roles in SaaS, B2B software, or high-growth startups.

  • Track record hiring engineers, product managers, designers, and other technical roles at early- or growth-stage companies.

  • Experience partnering with senior engineering and product leaders to influence hiring decisions with data and insight.

Skills & Qualities
  • Strong technical-sourcing capabilities; you know how to identify and engage exceptional engineering talent in competitive markets.

  • High EQ, strong communication, and experience managing sensitive hiring conversations.

  • Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

  • Process-minded with strong analytical rigor; experience using ATS tools and recruitment analytics.

  • Passion for building teams, creating structure, and helping a company scale the right way.

Salary for this role is expected to be $150,000-$200,000 annually, depending on your experience, skills and team alignment. Final offer will reflect how you map to our current needs.
