The firm is seeking a Temporary Talent Sourcer to partner with our recruiting team in building strong talent pipelines and supporting key hiring initiatives across multiple functions. This role will focus on proactively identifying, researching, and engaging qualified candidates through a variety of sourcing channels, including professional networks, talent databases, and targeted outreach. The ideal candidate brings strong research skills, creativity in sourcing strategies, and the ability to engage passive talent.

This position is available as a hybrid or remote work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Focus primarily on sourcing, attracting, and engaging passive prospects.  

  • Leverage platforms including LinkedIn, Workday, and social media to actively engage top prospects and build awareness for Wilson Sonsini.

  • Build relationships with individuals and build talent pipelines in support of current and future hiring needs.

  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top business talent across various departments for technical and non-technical roles.

  • Utilize a variety of sourcing channels, including networking, referrals, and online platforms, to uncover hidden gems.

  • Partner closely with the recruiting team to recruit top candidates

  • Research and communicate market data including supply and demand

  • Use data and insights to fine-tune your sourcing approach and maximize efficiency.

  • Focus on providing a positive candidate experience at every opportunity.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a business sourcing or business recruiting role, preferably at a law firm or professional services environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in technical sourcing or recruiting with the ability to assess technical talent preferred.

  • A track record of successfully sourcing and hiring top-tier talent.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cohesive team.

  • A sharp eye for detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and the drive to succeed under pressure.

  • Proven ability to utilize traditional  and advanced sourcing methods, including social and professional networking platforms, targeted sourcing campaigns, strategic networking, and direct outreach to uncover and engage high-quality talent beyond conventional channels.

  • Extensive experience with LinkedIn Recruiter preferred

The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:

Palo Alto, New York, San Francisco: $39.23 - $53.08 per hour. Austin, Boston, Century City, Delaware, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Seattle, Washington, D.C.: $35.14 - $47.55 per hour.
