Title and Summary
Vice President, B2B Marketing, Marchant & Acceptance
The U.S. Integrated Marketing & Communications team drives growth for Mastercard's business and brand by demonstrating how our products, services, insights and Priceless assets create value for customers and partners.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of B2B & Product Marketing, the Vice President, B2B Marketing - Merchant & Acceptance will lead the marketing team supporting Mastercard's merchant, acquiring, processing, and public sector businesses.
This executive will translate commercial priorities into strategies that deepen customer relationships, grow share and generate revenue. The role will support core merchant verticals-including Travel, Fuel, Drug & Grocery, Retail, and Eating Places-while expanding strategic partnerships and adoption of secure, scalable payment solutions.
A key focus will be combining Mastercard Services, data and insights, products, marketing assets and the Priceless brand into differentiated growth solutions. Success will be measured through revenue influence, product and Services adoption, portfolio optimization, customer engagement and brand impact.
Role• Lead B2B marketing strategy across merchant, acquiring, processing, and public sector businesses.• Build growth plans for priority merchant verticals that deepen relationships, grow share and expand product and Services adoption.• Develop partnership and co-marketing propositions combining Mastercard's brand, campaigns, Priceless assets, sponsorships, media, technology, data and Services capabilities.• Partner with Mastercard Services to create cross-sell opportunities across acquisition, engagement, loyalty, portfolio optimization and performance marketing.• Support acquiring, processing and public sector priorities through programs that strengthen partnerships, accelerate innovation and promote secure payment solutions.• Lead joint marketing plans with customers, aligning objectives, investments, audiences, channels and measurement.• Build senior customer relationships and represent Mastercard in strategic planning sessions, pitches and executive presentations.• Partner with business development and account teams across the sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification and RFP strategy through activation and growth.• Develop insight-led narratives, commercial frameworks and materials that help win and expand customer relationships.• Collaborate across Marketing, Communications, Product, Services, Finance and Legal to deliver integrated programs.• Define performance measures tied to revenue, GDV, share growth, adoption, engagement, brand impact and ROI.• Lead and develop a high-performing team while managing agency partners and resources.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
