Objectives of This Role:

We’re looking for a VP, Engagement Strategy who is ready to help shake up the status quo in healthcare marketing. The right individual will be comfortable understanding, shaping, and optimizing a brand’s multichannel footprint. This person will guide the brand team from concept to execution, including development of program briefs. You will direct and manage integrated teams and expand management skills with a larger team.

 
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside account, strategy, and creative teams to ensure that digital and engagement strategies are properly integrated within the larger marketing programs 
  • Have a vision and see the “big picture” of the brand-customer experience 
  • Guide the brand team from concept to execution, including development of program briefs 
  • Partner with brand strategy groups to frame the customers’ behavior trends/patterns, identify differences across customer segments, and apply all learning to their journey 
  • Employ a variety of methods, including market trends/gap analysis, segmentation, personas, customer journeys, content mapping, program architecture, data capture strategies, scoring models, service training, and business process optimization 
  • Architect a thoughtful customer experience (CX) that delivers a positive relationship with the brand 
  • Partner with brand leads to identify strategic imperatives and their associated key performance indicator that all communications will be tied to
  • Provide clients with innovative strategies that span digital, social, mobile, and traditional media
  • Understand individual customers’ needs and those of healthcare portfolio holders
  • Understand behaviors and the mechanisms by which a brand can be relevant to their users to drive acquisition, servicing, and loyalty
  • Bring together creativity and data to create compelling personal experiences that grow our clients’ business
  • Assess campaign and program performance and optimize or apply learnings to future initiatives 
  • Analyze available data and apply thoughtfully across the brand in order to drive or support agency points of view 

 Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of digital marketing or project experience (within a pharmaceutical agency strongly desired) 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • Familiarity and comfort interacting with Google Analytics 
  • Strong background in data management 
  • Understanding of user experience principles 
  • Practical experience and strong knowledge of integrated marketing disciplines:
    • SEO/SEM best practices
    • CRM experience
    • Direct marketing
    • Knowledge of UI design principles
    • Content strategy
