About Campfire

Campfire is the AI-native ERP for high-growth mid-market companies. We automate the work that slows finance teams down — transaction categorization, bank reconciliation, revenue recognition, and reporting — so they can stop building spreadsheets and start driving the business. Our platform includes Core Accounting, Revenue Automation, Ember AI, and our Accounting Intelligence foundation model.
We're hiring a VP of Marketing to build the function that takes Campfire to a defining category leader. You'll own the strategy and the execution, stand up the team, and put in place the demand engine that carries us through our next stage of growth.

What you'll do
  • Own marketing strategy end to end: demand generation, pipeline, brand, product marketing, and communications.

  • Build the demand engine — a repeatable, measurable motion that reliably generates and accelerates pipeline for our sales team.

  • Recruit, hire, and develop an all-star marketing team, and be the kind of leader that top talent wants to follow.

  • Partner tightly with Sales and Product to sharpen positioning for a technical, high-consideration buyer and drive efficient growth.

  • Establish the metrics, systems, and operating rhythm that let marketing scale predictably as we grow.

  • Tell Campfire's story to the market — sharpening how we talk about a genuinely new category of ERP.

What you'll bring
  • A track record of building and scaling demand at a high-growth B2B SaaS company — most likely through demand generation, ABM, or integrated marketing, though we're open to strong operators who've come up through other paths.

  • Experience driving pipeline and revenue in mid-market and lower-enterprise sales motions, with the range to grow deal sizes as we move upmarket.

  • Proven ability to build a team from the ground up and attract exceptional people.

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and moving fast — you're as strong at strategy as you are willing to get into the details and execute.

  • A rigorous, metrics-driven approach paired with genuine creative instinct for brand and story.

Nice to have
  • Experience marketing a system-of-record, finance, or back-office platform — it's a plus, but not a requirement. We care more about caliber and drive than category pedigree.

Why now

Campfire is at the inflection point where the right marketing leader shapes the trajectory of the entire company. If you want a builder's role with real scope, senior-level ownership, and a mission worth doing, this is it.
