Our opportunity

As VP of Product Marketing, you’ll be responsible for crafting compelling product narratives, driving go-to-market strategy, and enabling sales and customer success teams with the tools they need to win. You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure our solutions resonate with the market and deliver measurable impact.   

Who you’ll report to: This role reports directly to our Chief Marketing Officer.

Location: Bay Area preferred, open to West Coast.

You will make an impact by being responsible for:

  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Own product launches and drive cross-functional alignment across product, sales, and marketing. 

  • Positioning & Messaging: Develop differentiated messaging that clearly articulates the value of our solutions to target personas and verticals. 

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and customer interviews to inform strategy and product direction. 

  • Sales Enablement: Create and maintain sales collateral, battlecards, pitch decks, and training materials. 

  • Customer Insights: Partner with Customer Success and Sales to gather feedback and identify opportunities for deeper engagement. 

  • Demand Generation Support: Collaborate with growth marketing to align campaigns with product positioning and lifecycle stages. 

  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing product marketing team as the company scales. 

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA preferred 

  • Proven success in fast-paced B2B SaaS startups, with a strong track record of launching software products, especially in automation, AI, or intelligent technologies.

  • Deep expertise in enterprise software markets, including buyer personas, purchasing dynamics, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Strong collaboration with product management and sales teams to align messaging and drive adoption.

  • Skilled in both strategic planning and hands-on execution, with a bias for testing, learning, and iterating.

  • Exceptional storytelling and communication abilities, with a knack for translating complex tech into compelling narratives.

  • Experience with AI, machine learning, and automation technologies, including familiarity with AI agents and related innovations.

  • Comfortable navigating both PLG (Product-Led Growth) and enterprise marketing motions.

  • Strategic thinker who can prioritize high-impact opportunities while staying grounded in execution.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely 

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience leading and developing high-performing teams

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively 

The base salary range for this position in California, New York, and Washington is $270,000 – $290,000 and outside of those locations is $260,000 – 280,000 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
