We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Product Marketing to lead positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategy for our product portfolio and industry solutions. The VP of Product Marketing will play a critical role in shaping how we communicate our value, drive pipeline growth, and differentiate in a competitive market. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team spanning product marketing, solutions marketing, competitive intelligence, and analyst relations.

What You'll Do
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the overarching product marketing strategy for Egnyte's portfolio, ensuring alignment with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Product Marketing: Oversee the development of compelling messaging and positioning for all Egnyte's products, collaborating closely with product management and other stakeholders.
  • Industry Marketing: Drive the strategy for industry-specific marketing initiatives, tailoring Egnyte's value proposition to resonate with key vertical markets and coordinating priorities with our vertical sales teams and subject-matter experts.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Oversee our competitive intelligence function, providing actionable insights to inform sales teams, product development, and marketing campaigns.
  • Analyst Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with industry analysts, ensuring Egnyte's solutions are well-positioned and recognized for their innovation and value. This includes shaping market understanding and ensuring consistent messaging across external audiences.
  • Product Launches: Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new product innovations and features, from positioning to launch.
  • Expertise in AI, Content Management, and Collaboration: Bring deep domain expertise to develop differentiated messaging for Egnyte's AI solutions and ensure they are effectively positioned within the broader content management and collaboration landscape.
  • Sales Enablement: Partner with the sales enablement team to equip sellers with the necessary tools, messaging, and competitive positioning to effectively sell Egnyte's products and solutions.
  • Thought Leadership: Establish Egnyte as a thought leader in relevant areas, developing Egnyte-specific points of view and crafting compelling content.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a strategic partner to product management, sales, demand generation, customer success, and other functions, influencing product roadmaps and driving pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Team Management and Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of product marketers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and flawless execution.
Your Qualifications
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in product marketing for B2B SaaS products, with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • A strong focus on Artificial Intelligence is a requirement. Domain expertise in Content Management or Collaboration is a plus.
  • Strong technical aptitude and a passion for understanding and articulating complex technologies into clear value propositions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action, capable of prioritizing competing requests and driving multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative by nature, with extensive experience partnering with product, marketing, and sales teams.
Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies based on defined markets. The standard base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $280k – $310k annually. Pay varies by work location and may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience. During the interview and/or hiring process, your recruiter can share more information about the compensation package specific to the role and job location.
